They are weighted enough not to tumble around inside Christmas lanterns I needed them for—since the lanterns doors didn't open very wide. The lanterns were made of glass & rustic metal so these bases were stable & of good quality to match the old world look that I wanted. I used battery operated stick candles made of real wax that completed their beauty.

I love the star shape and flat black color. My window ledges are only 3 in wide, so I needed something no larger. They are the perfect size and hold my automatic window candles secure and don't fall down. For safety reasons I still add some poster puddy on the bottom so they don't get bumped accidentally. I checked several types and these are a good value and look unique.

Well made, well coated. I had to drill a hole to mount to a wood project that my dad had built and never got to finish. I'm sure he would be pleased with the result. The steel base, though thin, is tough steel. Very satisfied and a perfect fit for a standard taper candle.

The media could not be loaded. I love these candle holders for my Halloween candles or whichever kind you choose. Not flimsy. Does not take up much room. I bought 2 boxes of 3. Nice item!

I have some flameless candles that aren’t tapered at the bottom. These holders fit them perfectly. Black candles look really great with these holders.

My grandson, who is into whittling, carved a candle with a flame and a little dribble of ‘melted’ wax. These primitive star candle holders were perfect for that.
