FHW80185OMC Leadoff Foaming Hand Soap

If you shoot guns, especially pistols, you can end up with a lot of powder and fowling on your hands. There is lead in the bullets and some lead in the primers so that black powder on your hands could have lead in it. When reloading you are also exposed to lead in the bullets. This soap (supposedly, I have not lab tested it myself) helps to remove lead from your skin better than regular soap. It does seem a little sticker than regular soap and it takes the grease, oil and dirt from cases off with ease. 5 start assuming it completely removes lead.

This stuff is pretty great. I've had a bottle of D-Lead for years. I use it after every time I clean my guns or load up mags before going to the range (my hands get surprisingly dirty after loading up a few mags, even moreso if it's bulk ammo).This stuff is just as good as D-Lead, if not better. But it's cheaper than D-Lead, it's a larger bottle, and it actually smells really good. The foaming soap I think is better too as it's easier to apply, use, and to be thorough.I definitely recommend this for every time you clean your gun to remove lead and other heavily metals from your hands and fingers. It removes carbon from your skin so easily, and actually smells pretty good. I'll definitely be buying more of this when I run out instead of D-Lead since it's a better value.

I always use the lead off after shooting. It works well as a hand soap too.

This soap works great, works better than the D-Lead soap from my experience! I work at a machine gun range, and though I wear gloves when handling weapons and loading magazines, my gloves easily get ripped from constant use. We have the red D-Lead soap in the head, though it works I normally have to use 2 squirts to get the majority of lead and metals off my hands. Even then, there are still traces of black material on my fingerprints. Hygenall does a more thorough cleaning with less soap in my experience, and I use it anytime I get back home from the range or after cleaning and handling my personal weapons and ammo.This 18.5oz bottle has lasted a long time surprisingly, however Im buying the 1 gallon bottle next!

Good stuff. I have no way to confirm its efficacy, but it's mild and pleasant smelling enough, and this size goes a long way so I've been using it in place of normal hand soap in addition to the times that I may come in contact with lead products. Worth noting that, like some other reviewers, mine also leaked somewhat in shipping so they need to work on the bottle's seal.

We use this soap at our indoor Range. It works quickly and effectively. After changing targets/backers there is dirt/lean on the hands. A quick trip to the clean-up sink, a squirt of this stuff and everything is gone. I also wash up with it as the last thing I do before I leave the range. Could not shoot without it available.

I just used your product,it smells good cleans well and I love that it foams up making it easy to apply

Haven't tested with a lead kit if it does remove lead, but it puts my mind at ease using after dealing with firearms or ammo
