These are thee best product I have ever purchased to use learning Spanish.
This is an outstanding product, and has ALL of the most important items you need to know to start, or continue on in learning Spanish. These are not simple children's flash cards. These flash cards are made for more mature people, from the more mature High School student upward. These are real, up-to-date, modern learning tools. They help you from the moment you open the box. Each box has 201 cards divided into sections. And, each box has about 5 extra cards that discuss things like Conjegation, Pronunciation, Days, Months, and Cardinal and Ordinal Numbers."SPANISH PHRASES" is subdivided into Greetings/Well wishes; Everyday Conversation; Questions; Feelings/Emotions; Weather, and Activities/Interest."SPANISH WORDS" is subdivided into Nouns; Verbs; Adjectives; Adverbs; and Tricky Words. If you have the book "501 Spanish Verbs" you will find that the Verbs in the "Spanish Words" set are the verbs marked as "Essential Verbs" found in 501 Spanish Verbs.

A great set!
Its a great set with helpful tips. The pictures are on the English side, so they don't give away the answers. It often has a little aside at the bottom to clarify the situation that you would use the phrase and give you alternatives to that phrase. I've flipped the cards and used them the other way too with relative ease. I just covered up the tips at the bottom. The only complaint I have is that the word section doesn't have enough nouns. I wish the did another box that was just nouns.

Great Spanish Cards.
Our family is trying to brush up on our Spanish skills. It has been a long time since we have spoken in Spanish. These cards are very simple and easy to use. We liked the fact that they had English on one side, Spanish on the other, and the pronunciation, and even a sentence to use with it. These are the best cards we have seen so far. We even tried to find more like these, but we could not.

They Put the Spanish Words on the English Side of the Cards. ¡Dios mío!
GOOD:* The Spanish words have pronunciation guide under each word.* The cards a high quality, nice glossy finish, bright colors, sturdy material* The box the cards are stored in is sturdy. Should hold up to much use.* Cards (phrases) are color-coded for different situations (Activities, Weather, Greetings, etc.)BAD:There are some errors. For example, the pronunciation on the card I'm looking at now repeats the syllables for one word twice. No big problem if you can quickly recognize it's a mistake. But for some people they might struggle trying to learn how to pronounce the word or make sense of it.BAD:As you would expect, each card has a side with English and a side with Spanish. In Spanish some words change a little depending on whether you are referencing a male or female person. For some reason they printed the SPANISH gender tenses on the ENGLISH side of the cards. So if you're looking at the English sides trying to remember in your mind the correct Spanish -- the answer is given away to you.Again, no big problem. I just took some sticky-notes and blocked off the portion of the card that has the answers. But it's kind of a flaw.OVERALL:Slightly disappointed they aren't perfect but would DEFINITELY buy again.
