I read a lot of the reviews on this product and was a little apprehensive on what to expect.The product arrived quickly and was very well packed. The box is nicely presented and would make a great gift.Their is minimal bits that require putting together. The device itself is easy to use with only two controls.The bbq plate gets very hot and cooks chicken, beef and vegetables with ease. I does take a bit of getting used to as its such a different way of cooking to throwing a meal together in a kitchen.Once you get used to the challenge of cooking it makes for a really great night in. We spent 2.5 hours round the table and had a great laugh.I want to address a lot of reviews about smoke. I didn't use fatty meats and 100% did not get any smoke at all. Steam yes, smoke no. I cooked on my dining table and have a smoke alarm directly above, no issues.Secondly the wire did not seem to get hot for me and no issues with sockets.Advice - ensure meats are cooked really thin.Buy some Gyoza's and put water in the hotpot section. boil till piping hot then place on the BBQ for a bit. When you are done cooking your Gyoza's add your stock.Highly recommended

I brought this for my birthday celebration with my family. It’s worth buying. Better than going to restaurant. It’s also nice for weekend catching dinner with friends. It’s nice to used while it’s summer because you can used it in the garden. It’s also safe to used inside the house if you don’t mind a bit of smoke. The best thing I like is the peace of mind. My first pot stopped working in the second time I used but after I contact Amazon’s and email food party, my replacement pot already in my door in 2 days. The pot is brilliant easy to use and easy to clean.

The size of the unit is good and could easily cater for a family dinner party. The overall quality of finish and trim is slightly disappointing at this price-point but there's nothing terrible about it. In truth, I'd say it's well over-priced for what it really is.In practical use, it is like so many similar products with crude rotary thermostat controls... the knob may have 270 degrees of travel but the critical difference between "off" and "boiling over" is down to the finest hair of adjustment of around 5-10 degrees on the knob. The rest of the dial is rather useless. In real life use, the knobs have to be manually ridden quite a bit to maintain a useable cooking temperature. This is ok once you get used to it but the knobs may as well be replaced by onn-off switches really.Cleaning the cooking surfaces isn't quite as easy as the instructions would suggest. You cannot detach the cooking plate from the main body and therefore care must be taken to prevent water from ingressing into the electrics that reside inside the main body. There are rubber plugs supplied to prevent water from dripping through the oil-drain hole during cleaning. These are useless. They do not stay put and pop out within seconds of being put in. A minor nuisance, but something that shouldn't be present at this price-point. I have been using "Blu-Tac" instead.Overall, this unit does a workmanlike job but in my opinion has no special quality to justify the rather high price compared to other units available.Would I buy it again? Probably not.

Great product - have used it numerous times already, especially during lockdown. You get amazing food at the fraction of what you pay at, especially at London prices.My piece of kit developed a fault after 3-4 months, they sent a replacement which arrived within days. The seller have been amazing, great customer service.The product is very easy to use. Quick to clean. Versatile. Can't really ask for anything different to it

This is the most amazing, 2-in-1 game-changing piece of dinner party equipment ever. Great design, so those who love broth based hot pot dishes will be blown away, while the barbecue area cooks whatever you love to perfection. The beautiful thing is that all the prep - ie slicing up the raw materials, Is easily done beforehand in minimum time, then everyone can sit down together and enjoy. We bought ours only a couple of weeks ago and we have used it three times already. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Just get one! Service was great..it arrived next day. It has paid for itself twice over.

I read all the good reviews at the top and bought the product as a wedding anniversary gift for my husband. Unfortunately, everything was wrong with the product.- The first thing that we noticed was that the grill temperature control button was loose. Also, we could not control the temperature. Or you have everything in high temperature or off.- The cable is very short, so you need to use an extension. It blew up two extension cords, and all the house's plugs went down.- The grill stopped working while we were having dinner, so we had to use the stove.- The oil container melted inside on the first use. When we tried to remove it, the base broke.- Very hard to clean- Cheap material on the baseLuckily we managed to return and have a refund from amazon. I'll buy one from the Chinese shop now!

The media could not be loaded. Wanted to try out hotpot and saw reviews on this one so, gave it a try. Was delivered in time and I tried the hotpot the same day after cleaning it as per instuction book that came with it. Got some tofu, mushroom and dumplings ready and started the hotpot with sauce that was recommended by Amazon . :) it went really well. No spillage and burning hands . Needed a bit caution on cleaning it up.. not getting water into any electric part...so I would recommend to think how to clean it before getting it under the tap . Curently had hotpot for three nights :) striaght and has shoen no issues .
