I am a huge fan of board books for little ones, as busy little fingers can destroy paper pages (or worse, give baby painful paper cuts). Also, since most things tend to end up in their mouth at some point, needing something durable is a must.These books are very cute, colorful and appealing to little ones. Story time is one of my favorite things, and these books are a great addition. They are very sturdy and the short, simple stories are enough to keep your little one engaged just for the right amount of time.As an avid reader myself, I find it important to foster a love for reading from Day One and these books are a great way to start! :)

My 16 month old daughter loves these! They are very colorful and the storyline is just right- simple, short and rhyming, to keep her attention. And she LOVES the fact that they have handles! She drags these books around everywhere :) I would definitely recommend these!

They will be good for when she is older but definitely not "first" books. I was looking for actual first books that have one simple picture with a single word on each page. These are more like mini stories.

After a few months of being thrown around they will start to wear down pretty quickly , its not as rugged as it might apppear on the pictures.
