Royal CaninX-Small Aging 12+ Dry Dog Food, 2.5 lb bag

PROSVery impressed with the product. Difficult to get a Havanese and Maltese to eat dried dog food, but both will from their first bite. They love the taste , smell and small bites that are easy to chew and swallow. Our female Maltese is very picky about anything she eats, but the hard food is better for her few remaining teeth (5). When I read the ingredients, it is not as high a quality as one would expect, but then the higher quality dry competitors' food just sat untouched in their bowls. This food is actually liked and eaten, and appears to be good for their health.CONI didn't take off any stars for the price, but must address that point of contention. I have have been buying this food online for quite a few years, but there is a big change ... the price has doubled, tripled and even quadrupled during the pandemic. It continues to be way overpriced. I could no longer afford it when I could find it and the dogs are the ones that suffer. I finally located a few bags online at fairly normal prices ($12 for a small bag) that will last a few months, but then what do I do??? Price gouging is going on constantly even when products are available. I will probably switch products again as it is difficult on my pets when the Royal Canine Senior is not available, and the price is definitely a determent as well.

My dog as I am sure if you are reading this is a member of the family! Feed her the best quality I can! I want her with me as long as possible! This food is highly recommended by vets and has high quality ingredients!

If you want an excellent source of food for your fur baby this is the best one, I have been using Royal canin food ever since my little one was just 1 month old now he is 8 years old and is still eating this food. This was told to me by a Vet to give this to my fur baby

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This food was recommended by the vet for my daughter's older Pomeranian. He's a picky eater, but he likes this food. I add a little warm water before feeding it to him.

My dog is 14 years old and she is a picky eater so I mix some of this kibble with fresh cooked chicken, brown rice, sweet potato and carrots she loves it.

My dog loved this food but unfortunately had to take her off of it because of other medical conditions not related to this dog food.

My 17 year old pappillion thrives on this and loves it. All my dogs try to eat it. They like it more than anytreat. Skippy is totally toothless with broken lower jaw and just o eye. He has really lived his life, he used to runaway down to the police station! He loves thefood. I add water to soften it he will happily eat it dry but so this k he needs soft food. It quickly absorbs water. His stool is good,no problems. He gained some weight when I put him on the food and looked terrible. His fur has thickened and looks good. He is definitely happy and in no pain. He the only when he wants.more food. It is the joy of his life. This is just one of my dogs I have kept happy and healthy I to extreme oldage. I would never let them suffered or be in pain and this diets keeps them healthy and happy.
