This calendar is a great value for the money. The cards are thick and durable. The color scheme is nice and will fit any classroom. This calendar is huge and is easily seen from any desk in the classroom. It is a great learning tool for daily use.

This pocket calendar is such a great tool for teaching days, months, and weather! My kid loves changing the pieces every morning—it’s become part of our routine. Bright colors, durable materials, and super engaging. A great hands-on way to build early calendar skills!

Evxellent! This product hit on so many areas. Unbelievable, teaching 3 and 4 year olds about the calendar. The product cards that could with it is astounding. It is a must buy for all children. I thought my 3 and 4 year the date they were born, the difference between today, tomorrow and yesterday.

I waited almost a year to purchase this item. I really wanted a pocket chart calendar for my son, but I didn't know which one. I basically looked at every one available and decided on this one.I am 100% happy with my purchase!-The cards are very durable, I was worried about them being flimsy card-stock and having to laminate them, but that is not the case at all. They are thick and very well made.-The pocket chart itself is also made very well. I am not worried at all about getting tears or having the plastic pockets unravel.-There are tons of card options for weather, holidays, appointments, birthdays, field trips, etc.-There are also a few blank cards that you can use to "create your own." I thought that was a great option to have.The only downside I see is that it comes with so many cards that the storage pockets can barely hold them all. Honestly though, I don't mind at all. I just put the far-away months and holidays in a ziploc bag and placed in a spot where I wont lose them, That way, the rest fits comfortably in the storage pouches and I'm not sorting through a bunch of cards I know I wont use for months to find the ones I'm looking for.I give two big thumbs up for this pocket chart, which also came at a great price! I'll definitely be looking to "Learning Resources" for other items in the future.

The calendar cards are very thick and sturdy. The calendar is really large and nicely labeled. It is also a plastic type material so it can be wiped off and also hung with command strips.I actually use different numbers, that I purchased with a different calendar set. My numbers have pictures on them that coordinate with the season or month, and I just like it better than plain numbers.The pockets at the bottom are great in theory, but my pockets dont have a flap over the top, and the spare calendar cards are too tall to fit completely in The pockets. The weather pocket area is extremely slack, and the weather cards kind of just droop out. I am also surprised that the seasons and I think the weather cards do not have words written on them, like the other cards (such as halloween) so a person raling is supposed to be easily translated to fall, a girl running to the beach equals summer, etc. I am fine with just pictures if the pictures were simpler and more readily translated to the correct season. For example, a snowflake for winter, a flower for spring, a red leaf for fall and maybe a sun with sunglasses on for summer. Besides it is odd to me that so many other pictures are labeled with words, but the seasons are not.Overall, it is a high quality item, it is very easy to set up and start using pretty much right out of the box.

Ok I really like this calendar/weather chart. The year goes up to 2015 (I was worried they didn't go up high enough but thats fine) and even the older years you can still flip over the other side and use a sharpie and write on them. The pockets are the only slight disappointment. The gold pockets on the bottom can hold a few smaller things, but definitely not the days of the week or seasons...they are NOT deep enough, the velcro will not close if you put more than 2 in a pocket at a time. it will bulge and my 2 yr old likes to rip them all out. So I have them in a baggie for safe keeping. There are lots of different holidays on there, Christmas, Kawanza, Passover, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Valentines Day, St. Patricks Day...and lots more. There are also plenty of other ones like for Birthdays, Presents, Balloons, Field Trips, No School, 1st Day of School, Last day of School, 100th Day of school, etc. Its cute, they have a few that are just Teeth, maybe for those children who lose their teeth. Its a very sturdy vinyl calendar thats pretty large in size. My only modifications to this other than making the gold pockets in the front deeper would be that Today's Weather whcih is just a plastic pocket be a little smaller. Overall this is great. I recommend it.

This is an incredible classroom calendar. I love that the calendar part is made out of the cloth like material and very sturdy. The cardboard pieces that go in the slots are great, but could be laminated. I don't have a laminator so I won't be able to laminate. But I recommend if you plan to use this for the foreseeable future to get it laminated. The calendar also comes with a series of 'years' printed. However.. it starts at 2017.. which is already three years out-of-date. For the cost, I would have thought it would have been updated more recently. There thankfully are some blank cards for the years which will be helpful once we run out of the cards printed. I love that that this calendar comes with many pieces to put on different dates on the calendar, like birthdays and holidays. I love that you can check the weather and today's day of the week, yesterday, and tomorrow. I love that you can check the outside weather and remind your students what season it is. This calendar is very versatile and will get a lot of use. I am personally using it for home use with my children but if I taught younger children this would be in my classroom. Overall, great find and I am very pleased with this calendar.
