My 2 year old is really into trains. Every day, we watch a log train go by our house. It turns out that it's hard to find log cars for wooden train sets so when I found this, I was really excited. The car is primarily plastic but that allows the sides to drop which is great fun for my toddler. He loves putting the logs in and out of the car but also uses it to carry small animal figurines and other cargo. We have another log car that is part of a lumbermill from a big name set but it only carries one large log and my son doesn't find that nearly as fun as the collection of small logs in this car. This car has been played with for innumerable hours in my house, it's been accidentally stepped on, dropped, and toddler 'loved' and is still going strong. A great addition to train fun in our house.

I purchased this for my son who loves trains and anything to do with them. He loves loading and unloading cargo so this was the perfect car to pick. It is well made and you can pull both sides down for unloading. Works perfectly with all his Thomas the Train things too. He just loves it.

Thomas & Friends doesn't really sell Jobi logs like this. I purchased this for a four year old, and he immediately identified them as Jobi logs. The train car fits with Thomas The Train magnetic train cars.

My son loved this toy. It is just as described.
