PS4 Wired Controller for Playstation 4 …

I got this for my PS4 but unfortunately it did not work well for that purpose. But it's surprisingly good controller on My PC. I had been using a PS4 controller with the PC. Now this one is my primary for PC. -I actually no longer recall why I stopped using it on my PS4. Though I had tried it as a way to reduce lag on button responses for games like KH3 where milliseconds timing failures meant several min of replay over and over again.Has a great rubberized grip on the joycon and the palms. Its also got a bit of weight for it feel comfortable and not flimsy.

I ordered this controller because wireless controllers don't work for my setup. My PS4 is in my bedroom, under a desk next to my bed, so I need a connected, wired controller.I gave this product five stars for one simple reason: It works JUST LIKE IT'S SUPPOSED TO WORK.The USB cord is at least ten feet long, all the buttons and triggers perform their assigned functions, the joysticks work just the way you'd expect them to (the X and Y sensitivity can be adjusted to accomodate different games), and the directional pad works the same way it does on the $54 Sony controller.HOWEVER ...The PS button won't turn the system on, so if that's a deal-breaker for you, you should look elsewhere.Other than that ...The controller is sturdy, comfortable in the hands and costs less than half what you'll pay for Sony controllers.I've used this controller for more than a month, and I've played (or replayed) at least twenty different games with it, mostly first-person shooters. During all those hours of various games that require precision timing and control, this controller performed perfectly every time.I had no reason to contact the seller, as shipping was fast, my order arrived undamaged in perfect condition and the item performed exactly as stated. In fact, I liked it so much, I bought two of them!Highly recommended.

Today, 02/10/2024, I am downgrading my original rating of 3 out of 5 stars down to 1 out of 5. Aside from the design flaws I wrote about previously (below), I've come to notice that aside from having to use my old wireless controller to remotely turn on my PS4 (which defeats the purpose of buying a new controller in the first place), I also must reboot the PS4 a second time using the home button once I get tho the sign on screen. Otherwise this Prodico controller will not work at all. This is straight garbage!Today I received my Prodico PS4 Wired Controller for Playstation 4, and right away I tested all of the buttons and they seem to work. The only gripe I have however, is that the controller's home button will NOT allow me to power up/power on the console.This is flabbergasting considering it is wired and should wake the console up the same way a keyboard or mouse on a computer will bring the device out of sleep mode when activity is detected.Were it not for this serious design flaw, I would have given this controller a 5-star rating. However, as-is, the controller is adequate as a quick replacement for the Bluetooth controllers which are notorious for having its USB-charging port malfunction and become difficult to accept a charge.Other reviewers have indicated this controller is prone to breaking after a few months. I will be sure to update this review should anything go wrong unexpectedly. In the meantime, I am fairly happy, except for having to manually turn on my console instead of using the Home button as I had become accustomed to doing with the Sony original six-axis controller.

These controllers work well, but the joystick rubber wears off too fast for my liking. Still, a good controller for the price. There aren’t many wired options out there. I’d rather deal with the wire and an extension cable than worry about batteries.

I bought this for my husband to play rocket league on his computer because his ps4 controllers kept braking. So I bought him one that plugged into the computer and he says it works great! 10/10

I just needed a cheap replacement controller and didn’t want to spend a ton. This one surprised me — it actually works really well! It plugs right in, no setup needed, and the buttons are responsive.It’s definitely lighter than the original PS4 controller, but it still feels solid. The cord’s a good length, and I haven’t had any issues with lag or weird disconnects. Been using it for a while now and no complaints.

It's a nice controller but it turns off on you after a while you have to unplug it and then replug it back in for it to work I did see reviews on that but I wanted to see for myself but it has that problem so you can't use it too long
