I will not use another brand of pen after discovering these! The feel of the barrel in your grip is smooth, comfortable and functional. The design is clean, sharp - making it durable and able to withstand drops and even my dog thinking he can write as well. They write so smooth and the ink doesn't smudge. While the price isn't the cheapest on the market, they are worth every penny spent - I have purchased multiple to keep in different spots around the house, my purse, my travel writing bag, my desk and the fun part, you can purchase ink refills in different colors to change things up if you like! I currently have pink, burgundy, purple, blue and black and if I can find other color refills I will get them as well. I can't say enough good about this pen!

This pen is the best pen I have ever used. I am left-handed and like fine-point pens. I also do not like cheap pens. I have been using this pen for many years and buy ink refills for it. I love the silicone grip and the way it feels in my hand when I am using it. I have three of them and they are the only pens I use. They may seem a bit spendy, but the quality is worth it; the first one I purchased has lasted me for many years. They are worth the money. Love them! I would like to mention that you should not purchase the "extra fine point"; it rips paper and is too fine.

Dr. Grips are great pens. They are comfortable for arthritic hands, write smoothly, easy to refill, don't leak ink. They not only do NOT leak ink but will use down to the last drop of ink. Dr. Grip pens are a good value

This is the absolute best pen in the world. I try to only use these pens because of how well they write and how they feel in your hand. I buy refills and hang on to the same pen. I purchased this one for my husband because he kept steeling mine.

I work at a very busy pharmacy. With that said, we get tons of verbal telephone order from MD office as well as scripts on voicemail. I dislike the cheap generic pens that we have. Writing fatigue is a real issue when you have to write to the speed of someone reading doctor's order at lighting pace. The Pilot Dr. Grip is the best pen that I've used, aside from the G2 Pro which is also a Pilot pen. Trust me, I have been through countless different brands until I ended up with this one.It is a very beautiful and professional looking pen. In fact, my co-workers always seem to try to steal it from me! I love the size and soft grip which makes it easy to handle. The cheap pens are too skinny in my opinion to give optimal comfort when writing. The pen's weight is just right: it's not too light nor too heavy. Depending how often you use this pen, it may last you a year or a couple years. I tend to use this everyday that I'm working (roughly 10 hours days) and I had to replace this pen twice in the 2 years. The pocket clip is not as sturdy as I would like. It can be broken fairly easily if you're not careful.The best feature is the ink refills that you can buy to make this pen last. The refills are sold on Amazon at a very reasonable price. I buy a bulk order and it last for months. I normally rotate between the black and blue refills. Despite some cons, as a pharmacist, I highly recommend this pen.7/2019 - > 2 years later, I'm still a huge fan. It's all about the refills.
