From the photos and description I thought I’d found the vegan alternative to the Dubai pistachio chocolate bar that’s so delicious and my vegan daughter was missing out on! Instead we’ve been sold horribly bitter chocolate that has zero ‘indulgent filling’! Not in the slightest bit like the creamy gooey centre shown in the photos (last pic)! And not surprisingly the lack of said ‘filling’ means it has zero taste of pistachio! Excuse the pun but we were left bitterly disappointed!

I was intriduced to this by a colleague and loved it so much that I had to buy some for myself. Just the right blend of dark chocolate and pistachio. Good quality and great taste.

This is nice enough and tastes very similar to the other Ombar chocolate flavours. I do slightly prefer the other filled chocolate flavours though as you can’t really taste the pistachio cream centre here.It’s a 70g bar, so it’s double the size of Ombar’s standard small bars. The bars are expensive for the amount of chocolate you get but I think it’s reasonably priced for what it is: high quality vegan chocolate. Ombar’s chocolates taste really rich and indulgent, not bitter or too sweet; they’ve also managed to create a unique cocoa flavour that I haven’t come across with other brands. Lovely as a treat especially if you can enjoy a square or two at a time.

I ordered two bars but ive only eaten one as I was extremely disappointed. You can't even taste the pistachio as the dark chocolate taste is so strong and overpowering.Won't be buying again unfortunately.
