Professional quality- but I won't drive with them
I’m a fan of Jabra products and have bought several in the past, principally for professional purposes- conference microphones etc. They aren’t necessary the most fun or fashionable products but the sound quality and build quality is hard to fault. I was initially puzzled as to why the Jabra branding appears nowhere on this product- only the product heading on this site mentions it, it doesn’t show up anywhere else- and while the “BlueParrott” branding does strike me as rather naff, the product quality convinces me that this is up to Jabra standards.I’m reviewing the B450-XT here and the sound quality is very good. It’s clearly geared towards pushing vocal sounds forward in a nice clear fashion, and the noise cancelling is on a par with posh headphones- but unlike some cheaper headsets, it does a surprisingly good job with bass tones and music as well. I’m told the microphone makes it sound like I’m making a completely normal phone call, just as though I was holding a smartphone to my ear.But as for whether that’s a good thing… Personally, I wouldn’t drive wearing these. Discreet in-ear Bluetooth devices are OK because they don’t interrupt much of the surrounding noise, but the fact these deliberately block so much of the traffic and surrounding noise from your right ear- which in the UK is the side you’d be overtaken from- I think would be a genuine impairment to your ability to know what’s around you as you drive. If you were a HGV driver or for some other reason you couldn’t rely on sound signals anyway, then it would be less of an issue, but for driving cars or light vans, I genuinely think it’s a bad idea. It’s a comfortable headset, just a little weighty compared to the flimsy cheap ones you would associate with a call centre, but not too bad, and wearable all day if necessary. On that note, the battery life does seem to be very strong as well (perhaps in part the weight is thanks to the battery).I didn’t entirely get along with the Parrott app and the built-in voice commands. The understanding of my accent didn’t seem quite up to Alexa standards, and it doesn’t really add anything significant that you can’t already get from a Google Siri or Alexa Auto assistant. To my surprise it felt like a bit of a novelty rather than integral functionality of the headset. In terms of quality I’d certainly recommend the hardware itself- it’s the surrounding elements, the app and reservations about in-car use, that mean I’m going to give it 4 stars, even though it feels a bit harsh.

Not 5* as Bluetooth not good
The good bit first: the mic and ear peace are brill. Baty live a must. Very good there. If your like me with little or no hair then the grove on your scalp can be seen as its s tad heavy. But comfy. The bad: the blue tooth is only 12 foot! Iv been intouch and got good relpy to email, but after a week of trying this and that it has gone back. It was not the fault of my phone. I am getting a replacement so I will see.

Targeting the very narrow 'audiences'?
I have doubt on the targeting customers of this product, the facts are:1. This is a mono earphone that can do noise cancelling on the microphone so people can hear you when you are in noisy environment2. This has only one earpiece, not the most balanced weight on your head, but I understand the one-earpiece design is to keep you alert to the surrounding sound, that says to me it is for specific industrial circumstances rather than ordinary home use.3. Not for music or gaming4. Problems with some PC connections, so for phones or tablets mainly5. £145 - The price of three pairs of decent noise cancelling headphonesThen I started to think what my £50 noise cancelling headphones can do in comparison, pretty much all of the above better and cheaper except people dont hear me as clearly because there is no (or close to no even if the function is there) noise cancelling on the microphone.I can see this product can be really useful if letting people hear you clearly under noisy environment is essential in your job. In that case it is well worth spending the money to just get that little bit more of clarity in sound, it could mean savings on not getting things done wrong or sometimes it could mean life and death depending on the job nature. And I think this headset does it better than any other headphones in that respect. It is a very well built headset. I can hear clearly what it is said from the headset even next to a working lawn mower. Charging with USB-C and battery lasts absolutely ages.I just dont think for the majority of folks working from home would like to have this on rather than a £50 well padded, two-earpiece headphone that is a lot more balanced in weight, and it can also do music in stereo, gaming as well as meetings. So I just feel that it is unfair for people like me that do not work in noisy environment to give a true verdict to this pair of expensive headset which is designed for that. I feel that under the right circumstances, this pair of headset will excel and worth every penny, but in most of the other occasions this product is lacking functionalities and values, it is just not designed with ordinary use in mind.
