High quality K2
K2 was recommended by a doctor friend. He spent time reviewing each formulation and directed me to Relentless Improvement's formulation with MK4 Plus MK7. A little more expensive but, in his analysis, worth it. Trusting his opinion I've ordered it for me and my husband repeatedly.UpdatedAs prices go up on everything, I decided to try a different company's version. I was disappointed by the amount of active ingredient so I am back to Relentless Improvements formulation. Expensive but worth it based on the active ingredients.

Good companion to high dose Vitamin D therapy
After reading Jeff Bowles' book on high-dose Vitamin D therapy I've been experimenting myself with high doses of Vitamin D3, taking as much as 50,000 IU per day for several weeks at a time. Mr. Bowles cautions readers to not even try taking large doses of Vitamin D unless also taking adequate K2, and he recommends one with both MK-4 and MK-7. Most other K2 supplements have a paltry amount. This Relentless Improvement K2 has 15mg of MK-4.Vitamin K2 activates a protein your body needs to take calcium out of your blood and into your bones. It helps take calcium out of areas it doesn't belong (heart, blood vessels, pineal gland, tartar on your teeth) and puts it where you need it.I take my K2 with dinner, along with mixed tocopherols and a magnesium supplement. I take Vitamins A, D3, and tocotrienols in the morning. In addition I supplement with iodine, boron, zinc, and calcium to provide plenty of substrate for bones, hormones, enzymes, etc.In the few months I've been taking Vitamins D3 and K2 I've noticed an improvement in my health. I have fewer aches and pains in my joints. The tartar that was constantly building up on the back of my lower teeth has disappeared. I also seem less susceptible to allergens and sunburn.I do not recommend for anyone to blindly start taking high doses of Vitamin D3. But I do recommend Mr. Bowles' book on the subject, and if you do decide to try high doses of Vitamin D I suggest you also take high doses of K2 like this product.I wish good health to everyone.

Grow wider bones
As your palate and dentition approach optimal width through proper myofunction, braces, or jaw surgery, vitamin k2 is essential for helping to channel vital nutrients to the teeth and bone undergoing remodeling. What this produce offers is good bioavailability, clinical doses, in an easy to swallow capsule. My only complaint is that the mk7 is not offered in larger quantity, the reason for this may be due to its ability to stay in the body much longer, but i would nonetheless prefer 100mcg of mk7 instead of only 60.I take these pills three times a day after each meal since they are fat soluble. As an adult they offer minimal growth over long periods. Those who will benefit he most will be children whose bones are undergoing constant rapid remodeling.Grow healthier, stronger and wider cheekbones and jaws with vitamin k2

Turns out the research supporting mega high dose vitamin K2 was faked
This supplement's mega doses are based primarily on a serious of Japanese trials that suggested that mega high doses of vitamin K could reduce or prevent fractures (45 mg, as in this supplement). These studies all came from the Yoshihiro Sato group in Japan, along with Jun Iwamoto and Kei Satoh.Years later, it turns out Yoshihiro Sato faked his data and apparently committed suicide after being caught. You can see the retraction notes on PubMed. For example:"Retracted Note: Effects of Vitamin K2 on Osteoporosis"(Pubmed ID: 34264184)This is an excerpt from the article in Science, "Researcher at the center of an epic fraud remains an enigma to those who exposed him":"Sato's fraud was one of the biggest in scientific history. The impact of his fabricated reports—many of them on how to reduce the risk of bone fractures—rippled far and wide. Meta-analyses that included his trials came to the wrong conclusion; professional societies based medical guidelines on his papers. To follow up on studies they did not know were faked, researchers carried out new trials that enrolled thousands of real patients."The fraud was exposed by a brilliant researcher by the name of Mark Bolland at the University of Auckland -- when he broke down the p values in the studies and looked at their time frames, it was painfully obvious that the numbers had been fabricated. No one else bothered to look, including the manufacturers at Relentless Improvment. This is what happens when people only read the abstract.Even JAMA refused to publish Bolland's investigation showing the trial was faked because they were so embarrassed after publishing Sato's work for years. Other journals finally ate the plate of crow, with the vast majority since having issued retractions owning up to their mistakes for publishing his pseudoscience.Sato's fraudulent work has propelled him to #6 on Retraction Watch's list of researchers who have racked up the most retractions for dry labs and fraudulent data. His collaborator, Iwamoto is at #9.A tragedy to be sure -- many people were hurt by his fraud and this supplement continues to propagate its myth.Based on the Japanese studies being faked and the fact that they've been unable to be duplicated, taking the megadoses in this supplement are probably not necessary could be dangerous. I would definitely avoid. Honestly, the product should be removed from Amazon.
