I've tried other adapters, but this one works much better!It's not loose, and won't give you a faulty connection, so there is no fade, and will not fail you when you need it, all things considered exactly what I was looking for.

Very nice-looking red color and it looked well-made from the exterior. As soon as it arrived, I decided to test the item. Plugged it into my iPhone 13, plugged my Bose headsets into the port, selected music, and sound only came out of left side. I wiggled the wire of the product and the sound cut in and out, shifting from left to right, sometimes cutting out of both sides - a clear short circuit. Once in awhile if I wiggled the wire just right, it would play sound in both side of the headsets, but if I let go of the adaptor, it would short circuit. To be sure, I plugged my headsets into my old iPhone 6 and the headsets worked great. So it wasn't the headsets; it is the wiring inside of the adaptor. Had to return it. Luckily, I tested it before leaving on an international flight. Hope the company will reach out...we'll see how the customer service aspect works out.Addendum: Just received the second one today, only a 1-day delay. Returned the defective one to UPS store no charge. The second one works perfectly, so it now gets 5 stars. The jack is a very tight fit into the port, so make sure you push it in all the way, otherwise, you might think the port is too large and the jack doesn't fit. It does when pushed in all the way (I know, but there's really no other way to say this). Did not receive any communication from the seller, but it's only been a day.

If you’re as irritated as I’ve been with apple’s bullshit gatekeeping with its technology and headphone adapters, this is the real deal. I’ve spent hundreds going through the dongles through the years, either apples own or knockoffs. They don’t last long, lose sound in one channel, extremely sensitive to any movement, will stop playing constantly.This is the one. Good sound, works great, can move around freely, fairly priced. This is the one you’re looking for. Look no further.

Update: Seller sent a replacement so I’ve revised my review upwards to 4 stars. Will revise again in a few months.Update: This product stopped working today, after about two months of use.This works as expected. The cord is longer than necessary, which is a little annoying. But I had trouble finding an adapter that works with phone calls, so that is a very minor complaint. In all other ways it functions just how I need.

Needed an adapter for my son’s iPad so he could use headphones. I purchased this one because of the great reviews even though it was a little more expensive. I’m sure this product works great on everything besides Apple products. This stopped working in just a couple of days and my guess is because it’s not Apple certified? Don’t purchase if you need it for anything Apple related.

I bought this for my home music studio to replace an original Apple adaptor that failed. I learned that Apple has discontinued this product, so my research led me to this JSAUX model. I love it so far. It's pricey, but is built much stronger than Apple's and its sound quality for recorded music is far superior. I've tested it with my iPhone 12 and iPad 8th gen and it works just fine with both. Also works fine with phone calls. I'm ordering two more of these to have for spares.

Survived a run through the washer on accident, this is a good quality dongle, and the sound quality was unaffected with my IEMs.
