Good for hitting things with
I've tried to capture the details of the head in these photos. The photos show this 12oz hammer in comparison to a (slightly used) 1lb hammer from a different brand. The Draper ball pein is nicely rounded (no pointy bits on mine!) and finely ground - even though it looks a bit rough in the photo. The Draper flat face is, well, flat. Plus, if you like your hammers to look nice, I think it looks nice, with a nice 'waist' in the head. The only slight negative is that the sticky labels leave some reside behind. Apart from that, this is a great hammer and I'm looking forward to mending lots of things with it.
