My littlest is a construction vehicle guy and this is his 2nd Dump truck because our landscaper ran over the first one.(I honestly don't know how - it's a bigger than an average house cat)We can't live without it because it's a really fun toy that is crazy durable (plastic and metal build). I don't think it weighs more than 2 lb without a load, & it's a great value for the money.We live in South Florida and it has been through a bunch of severe thunderstorms and it is still fully functional (even if it does have a couple of dings).

On this Excavator the Bucket, Yellow parts of the Cab, and Pins are metal. The rest is plastic or rubber. That said, it seems like a decent build for a 4-7 year old to play with outside in the dirt or sand. The rubber Tracks could be more sturdy. The arm will collapse even when new and empty so the bucket will hit the surface below.

Great toy for my toddler. He loves playing with it. Very durable, fun design.
