Nice and low, slim for tabletop use. Everyone should have a burner like this for emergency use with spare canisters. It also makes for great party use in Asian hot pot type dishes, Korean/Japanese grill at table, or frying tempura/deep frying outside (or cooking fish outside if you have someone in the family who doesn’t like the smell) if you don’t want micronized grease everywhere inside.

Northern Michigan recently experienced a weather event that left us without power for 10 to 21 days (depending on where one lived in the 12 counties affected.) This little magic stove allowed me hot water and gave me hot meals. The thing and 8 fuel canisters should be in everyone's emergency kit.

Flimsy, burns through Butane but this single burner can do the job just fine.

The stovetop is beautiful to look at and works very well. My first time cooking Shabu Shabu (Japanese hot pot) at home. Highly recommend. BTW, Amazon will not ship the Iwatani brand butane canisters to my address due to regulations. Found another brand at H Mart, and it worked well. Cooking at the table made our holiday meal more fun.

If the power goes out this is a lifesaver. You can cook right in the middle of your table if you like. When I lived in Japan I enjoyed these portable burners. When I got back to the states I ended up using mine often just because I prefer a gas burner to an electric eye. I've given them as gifts and people are surprised how handy it is to have. Easy to operate. One can of butane lasts a good while. I have cooked entire meals using just this one burner. Highly recommended.

Excellent gas burned. Easy cleanup if the pan boils over or splatters.

For such a small unit, it pumps out so much heat. It easily heats my 7 litre cast iron Dutch oven. I would definitely recommend this.
