I have a mountain e-bike and purchased these bike shorts to use when I take it out on the trails. I like the quality and style of the shorts. The seat pad also make those longer rides more comfortable. The material has a little bit of stretch to it which is perfect for biking. I would wear these to dinner even if I was not riding my bike however.I am about 165 lbs and have a 30" waist. At first I ordered a small pair that I had to return because they were too tight along the waist. The second pair I purchased were a Medium and fit perfectly.Great pair of biking shorts.

I like these shorts quite a bit for road riding. Two roomy side pockets (one zipper, one velcro) with room for a large phone with plenty of space to spare for trail snacks or whatever. The two front pockets aren't secured, but deep enough and with a good enough cut nothing seems to fall out. The single rear pocket is zippered and roomy. There is also a large cord loop on one side pocket for keys or whatever.Agree with another reviewer here that because of the material I wouldn't actually call these mountain bike shorts. Branches or a ground fall aren't going to be very kind to these shorts or your skin underneath. But 95% of my riding is on pavement and these were exactly what I was expecting, road shorts for when you don't really want to go full spandex warrior.The padded liner I am tossing. I don't use padding except on my longest rides anyway, and the padding on this liner is excessive and for me would create sores instead of preventing them. Not really sure why many mid-market manufacturers are putting thicker and thicker foam padding into their products when for anyone who rides a reasonable amount and has a properly fitted saddle it's just more surface area to create hotspots and numbness on long rides. That's not a ding against the shorts tho, just the way the market works lately.These are good looking active shorts and not out of place in stores or just walking around. The only caveat is that the fly bulges out oddly. I thought it might be a shipping issue but still there after washing, see the attached photo. But to be fair, I looked closely at the product photos and it is there as well. So this is a feature? Dunno, looks bad and I dinged a star for it, even tho that might be unfair given it's there, if not obvious, in the product photos.I only put 20 miles on these yesterday, the first day I had them, so can't really speak to durability. But after washing the stitching looks solid and likely will last a reasonable period of time for this kind of product. I don't expect the 20 years and still going strong of my Endura trail long shorts, but if I get 18 months of serious use out of something this thin, comfortable and light will be happy enough.While I don't love the fly or want the liner, I am fairly likely to pick up another pair in different colors since everything else about them is well done and they are comfortable and fit well with the elastic material and slight fabric stretch.

The shorts fit just right stretch the right amount and have the perfect weight. The material is great with excellent drying and wicking properties. The number of pockets are just right with belt loops for those of us that use a belt. I discarded the padding I've no need for that. They also look good for riding shorts and all for a fair price. A good buy.

I only bike for fun, and recreation, cut I enjoy riding my fat tire and mountain bikes on rough/gravel/trails terrain.The shorts are awesome: great fit, stretchable, many closed pockets, breathable, great olive green color, light weight. They look and feel great, and I wear them casually, without the inner as well.Great part is that the inner is separate. That way, I can wear it with any of my workout shorts. It's not the best, but it does the job for a few hours of biking, and I'm not uncomfortably/chaffed at all.Excellent product for the price.

Really enjoy these shorts. They have just enough padding to be comfortable but not so much that you cant walk around in them. Im ordering a second pair soon.

The shorts are okay but the shorts and the biking padding are 2 separate shorts. I bought these for mountain biking because I have regular shorts and tight road biking padded shorts. I'll keep them but the description should be more clear that they are actually 2 separate pairs of shorts.

The shorts themselves are awesome; light weight, breathable, have good pockets, and are comfortable for long rides. However, the included padded spandex part wasn't a good fit. The pads were too big, which made it feel awkward. Luckily, the padded liner is seperate.
