This is a very nice watch and eyeglass box for the money and is exactly as described.It was packaged really well. The box itself was wrapped and taped in thin foam paper, then lined with thick styrofoam boards and packaged inside of a cardboard box. That box was then packed in another cardboard box. Upon unpacking the box, I was surprised by the quality and what you get for under $65. The ebony wood looks great. The glass in the top of the box appears to be real. The lining is faux suede, as described, but very well installed. The hinges appear to be of relatively high quality and are in perfect working condition. I found no scratches, no markings, no extraneous glue or adhesive.The box comes with two keys - one with a tassel (old world style - nice touch). It fits eyeglasses and typically sized sunglasses perfectly. I've added a few watches of different sizes (up to 43MM) and they all fit nicely. I've added a picture to show how things fit. It shows the lower-end part of my collection (there is a nicer watch out for service and another that I'm planning to add in the next week or two).

Great Looking High Quality Item. Makes for a great gift. Bought this for a special friend and they absolutely love it! Looks amazing on their dresser and is the perfect organizing masculine accessory valet for men and their prized valuables.

Just received this watch case and my first impression was... it'll get the job done. By no means do I love it but if you're like me, I didn't want to overspend on a watch case when I could use that money for another vintage piece (but that might just be me). Anyways, here's my tl;dr pros & cons for your consideration...PROs:- Outer case design is tastefully done (probably veneered fiberboard but it looks great)- Watch pillows are "rigid-enough" meaning it'll most likely hold its form after many years of use- Faux suede lining is good enough - it will perform its job of keeping your pieces relatively scratch-free- Dividers are stiff and won't bend with modest pressure applied- Actual glass on top (if that matters for you)CONs:- Gold accents (at least for me) are too gaudy and probably not metal- Mine came with a slight scratch on the cover but not a deal-breaker for me- Main hinges are detached which makes a slight rattling noise when you open & close the lid (does not scream quality here)- This also means that the lid will slam if you let go unintentionally- Keys are either plastic or very lightweight metal but i'll never use it so doesn't really matter for me but it scratched up on my first time locking the box- Speaking of the lock, it's basically a hook that locks the lid. I was really hoping for a more robust mechanism with that satisfying "click" that you get from better locks but again, I'll never use this feature- Bottom is lined with felt-like material and the box likes to slide aroundI think that's it! Again, I'm not a huge fan but I was going for function (keeping my watches & sunglasses safe) first and this will do. Hopefully I'll add some more timepieces to my collection soon and then I'll think about a nicer watch case but it's too early for me to invest on a nice box. Nicely done. Not real wood, but solid. The watch holders are a bit tight as some of the reviews say. Looks great on my dresser drawer.

Well crafted and MUCH better quality than the cheaper 30$ versions you see on eBay... same design, yes, but the quality doesn't even compare.Couldn't be happier!

Broken hinge and cheap plastic gold piece on the front

The box was well made and a wonderful piece to hold my watches, glasses and knick knacks. It has a good weight, the hinges hold the lid open with ease, and the view through the glass shows everything off.There were two minor gripes I had: 1) the pillows for the watches are very stiff and I can't clasp my watch bands around them because they are too big. 2) the lock to the case was jammed when it came, and I had to unscrew the gold accents to fix the mechanism inside.I can live with both, but for 70 dollars, I can't give it 5 stars
