does sfw123es it have a interior light?

No. No interior lights, but mine is the manual combination dial, not the electronic lock.

Can this be mounted to the floor?

Yes! There are two dimples on the underside where you can drill holes. I placed two lag bolts with protrusions in holes I drilled in a concrete slab, filled with an epoxy. The threaded ends of the bolts extended through the holes in the floor of the safe. Large washers and nuts are used to lock the safe onto the bolts - obviously from the inside. The safe is as secure as if it weighed 1000 pounds. It would be easier to cut a hole in the side of the safe than to pry it loose. If your floor is wood, you would simply screw the bolts into the floor, preferably into floor joists. Instructions to do this come with the safe. You are cautioned to drill only in the specified location. Don't drill holes in any other place or the contents will not be protected in the event of a fire.

how does it open if it does not require batteries? How does keypad function??

The model SFW123ES has an electronic keypad and therefore requires batteries and does not open without them.

Can this be bolted to the floor?

Yes, it can, but you have to bore holes at the bottom for the bolts. Doing this can lessen the integrity of the safe in case of fire. Personally, I think there is no need to bolt this on the floor. The safe is so heavy that two people will even have a hard time moving it.
