Right for the cost
Use on my dodgy bi-fold doors as internal locks have broken and cannot be fixed. Saves buying new doors, be careful to buy with the correct fitting as mine required a right angled locater which was not supplied. The supplied flat locater is more for wooden/flush fitting inter doors imo

These locks are the best well made locks and excellent quality and value and security does the job well worth buying

A novice can install
Very easy to install, if you aren't great at woodwork then put the brass screws in first, be sure you are happy with everything, then take them out and put security screws in. Once those security screws are in you can't remove them. I didn't use the plate to slide the bolt into, I had to drill a hole into the door frame for the bolt, there is a little silver ring supplied so you can put this on hole to smarten edges. My mum is elderly and finds using these bolts easy. I got two texts from her telling me how lovely they are. They provide good security and are easy to install and use. Two same keys supplied

Okay for the cost
The items where okay , just okay , one worked fine the other failed to lock properly , fixings ample! , just cheap parts. Okay for basic security

Easy to fit
Easy to fit and use also a very good deterrent as once locked can not open window / doors can be fitted on wooden doors /pvc .

Nice little lock
This lock is so easy to install. One warning, make sure you have the lock 100% in the right place before screwing it to the door. Why this warning ? you may ask? Well, mon petite DIY'er the screws supplied only screw one way. The heads are designed so that they cannot be unscrewed.I have had mine in place now for a few weeks and I have to say that I am pretty much happy with them.I am not sure that any key or whatnot can undo this lock so I dropped a star just in case.I would recommend this product. After all, I fitted mine on my own!!! Now that has to be a selling point :)
