It FITS!!!!
I’ve had my Vitamix blender for over 8 years and I loved everything about it except for the actual construction of the plastic blender. It became cloudy and discolored over time and was impossible to clean—not to mention it was too tall to fit under my cabinets! Soooo excited to find this amazing stainless steel version! It functions as beautifully as the original version, so no loss of quality there. Cleaning it is a breeze as it also is dishwasher safe and best feature of all: IT FITS UNDER MY CABINET! I guess it’s the little things that truly count!

Perfect Upgrade for our Vitamix
The media could not be loaded. We purchased this stainless steel blender container as a replacement for our old one that cracked, and it has been a game-changer! It fits perfectly on our 5200 series base, and the quality is far superior to the original. My husband is obsessed with it—he makes smoothies every single day, while I use it weekly to make nut milk. The size is slightly smaller than the original container, but we haven’t found that to be an issue. In fact, it feels sturdier and more efficient. One of the best features is the locking lid. I love being able to blend and walk away without worrying about spills. Cleaning is also a breeze; just add soap and water, blend for a few seconds, and it’s spotless.Highly recommend this upgrade for anyone looking for durability, functionality, and ease of use!

Recommend if you want less plastic in your life, or want to add that touch of class to your kitchen.
Update: (07-05-2021) Still has been great, no issues. I got used to looking in through the top plastic to see how things are blending. Some reviewers have mentioned that the interior measurement markings wear off over time, but I haven't seen that (and I use it twice a day, every day). Maybe I got lucky?Original Review:I bought this as part of my (futile) quest to reduce the plastic I consume everyday.Pros:- It's very pretty. It's always on the drying rack for me, since I blend twice a day, but it makes a great statement in the kitchen for people who blend less.- Only the lid is made of plastic, so anything blended shouldn't have any plastic particles added from the blending.- Easy enough to clean; but I don't think its any easier to clean than the plastic version.- Clearly super durable.Cons:- A little on the heavy side.- You can't see through it; I've had to adjust to looking through the top to make sure things are going well.- It's smaller than the container that comes with the full size unit; this is fine for me, because I don't need the extra volume, but make sure you're good with this before buying.I put away the ugly plastic container, and I don't ever see going back to it. Recommend if you want less plastic in your life, or want to add that touch of class to your kitchen.

High quality, better than expected.
The production defect looks to be worked out. After seeing some reviews talking about poor workmanship, I had my doubts, but thankfully it is well made, as it should be for this price point. Whatever the case there are no gaps between the handle and the body on the unit I received as some reported. The container is beautiful brushed stainless with laser etched graduation marks inside. It cleans up easy, is dishwasher safe, and our family has peace of mind knowing we are not getting microplastics in our smoothies from the intense blending. We find it blends as well, if not better than the stock polycarbonate container, although it is a bit smaller (48 oz vs 64 oz for the stock). Definitely recommended!

Very good blender accessory to have
Love this stainless steel accessory since I can blend anything hot in it. I was always concerned to blend hot items in the plastic container. I have seen that sometimes plastic containers change color or have spots due to the hot liquids. This doesn’t happen with the stainless steel container. Also it does not leave a metal taste in the blended food.

Heavy Duty, Easy to Clean, Less Plastic.
Ok, I've had this for about a year and it's held up perfectly. No plastic except for the lid. I was concerned that maybe the measuring marks on the inside would wear off, but they haven't so far. I have a 15 year old 2 speed Vitamix Drink Machine and this works fine with it - no issues. If you're looking for a new pitcher and want less plastic, this is it.Also fun fact, the plug has measurement marks: 1/2oz and 1oz on one side, 15ml and 30ml on the opposite side. I haven't had a need to use that feature but it's cool that it's included in the plug.

Better design than the 64 oz. Tritan blending container, but not perfect
We applaud Vitamix for finally releasing a stainless steel blending container. The conical shape is better for effective blending than the cylindrical shape of the low profile 64 oz Tritan container than has been shipped with Vitamix blenders for years. You’ll have less a need to use the tamper. The finishing work on the stainless container, which is manufactured in China, is poorer than the finishing on the old USA-made Vitamix stainless containers that shipped with the 3600 and 4000 blenders. The lip on the top isn’t rolled, the stainless isn’t buffed, and as a number of reviewers have highlighted, the edges are more sharp than they should be.But overall, compared to the 64 oz. low profile container, the stainless container functions better, is heavier duty and will be more durable, is easier to clean and of course should reduce the incidence of microplastics in one’s food.Contrary to a handful of other reviewers, we actually like the new Tritan top. It’s more compact than the black rubber top that comes on other Vitamix blending containers, has excellent sealing and of course allows the user to view the blend.I do wonder why Vitamix only made one model of the stainless container that has built-in self detect, since many Vitamix customers appreciate the simplicity and low-tech aspects of the legacy blending lines.
