I've had the pleasure of using this curved shower curtain rod for nearly five years, and I can confidently say it has exceeded all my expectations!From the very beginning, installation was a breeze. Pleased with the quality and ease of installation (if you don't count the little dent I made in the wall of my brand new house I made when my drill slipped! OOPS). Looks nice and functions well.

Easy to assemble and remains sturdy in place.

This may be the only matte black shower curtain on the market, but it's okay because it's pretty darn good. There are tons of options for mounting depending on the availability and placement of studs, and the option to use drywall anchors if you need to. I was able to add one screw through a stud on each side, and use drywall anchors for the other two. It's very sturdy. There's a touch of 'slop' but that's just because it's mounted on a hinge on each side, and it's not a problem at all. There's no droop in the curve.The two things keeping this from a 5-star review are a slight scratch in the matte black finish on one end cap, and the fact the plastic bushing where the two sides telescope is a weird color. It looks like a dirty brown for some reason, kind of like antique bakelite plastic. Those are very minor, however, and I would recommend this to anyone with a black-finished bathroom.

Took my husband and I 1 hour to install. First the product had scratches on it. Didn’t want to go through the hassle of returning. Then we had to modify the ends in order to work with our shower hooks. Didn’t see it stated (not sure that it is) that the ends don’t come off, so you can’t use hooks that don’t open. My husbands really handy, so he was able to make it work. One hour later when it was up we found that the caps didn't fit right and one cap was missing a piece so it wouldn't stay flush with the wall. He had to glue it in order to stay together.

Shower rod is cheaply made! Wouldn’t lock in place. Ends made cheap too

This shower rod looks great and was very easy to install. It's also non-rusting, which is a huge plus.
