Nice replacement H4 (9003) bulb
I needed to replace a halogen bulb on my 2011 Harley-Davidson Street Bob. My headlight housing requires a H4 bulb. 9003 is equivalent to H4 and will meet your H4 requirements. The MotoVision bulb is definitely brighter than the stock bulb I replaced but that could be because the stock bulb was 4+ years old, not sure. I also have not tested this on the road yet due to the current weather (Northeast in March 2015). I will try to update the review when I do. As for the orange reflection feature, I can see an orange tint at some viewing angles, but I do not notice it when looking head on. Also there does not seem to be any orange tint on objects the light shines on. I'm not sure if I will be able to tell if the orange reflection makes me more noticeable because it will be hard getting feedback from oncoming traffic. We might just have to take their word for it. That said, the MotoVision is bright enough for me and there is a noticeable difference between the high and low beams to make me happy so far. Like I said, I will try to update the review once I get my bike on the road.

MOST UNIQUE LIGHT FOR YOUR RIDE
First, it was standard headlights . . . Everybody looked the same.Next came halogens . . . Brighter with some color options, but sooner or later, everybody looked the same. Then HID's hit the scene. Very bright, more colors, but now as they become more popular, those who ride two-wheels and use them are just fitting into their surroundings. We need something that makes us different and thus noticed.ENTER PHILIPS MOTOVISION: A halogen light with a twist, a ORANGE GLOW from the bucket that causes oncoming traffic to take the second look. This is combined with a stronger than normal output for greater reach down the road. No, it's not as bright as an HID, however, it only requires swapping with your existing bulbs; no major unfit needed as with HID. Power consumption is 55/60w, so there is no greater electrical load than the standard lights found on most M/C'sJust put a set of these on a 2010 Concours 14 and have noticed an apparent increase in oncoming traffic recognition. Several times in the course of the past days, drivers that have started to pull out in front of me have stopped and waited. Have noticed that the reflection of these lights on the back of vehicles has a very different color that any else on the road. They are DOT APPROVED and I therefore believe that if you are ready for replacements these should be considered. BE SAFE.

The orange glow effect is cool
So because of the title Amazon seems to think this won't fit H4 models, but it will. In fact if you look at the picture it says H4.Anyway, the orange glow is pretty cool. I am not sure how well it actually does to make other drivers aware of you, but I'm up for any type of change that might help. I certainly don't think it can hurt.As others have stated, the output is still white, and very bright. I did notice some difference in my light output, but I was also comparing bulb to an older bulb so it's hard to make judgments. I can say that I have no problems seeing at night.I like the fact that these are designed specifically for motorcycles so I'm hoping they will last a while. Be careful when taking the bulb out because it's not wrapped in any plastic so you have to take care not to touch the bulb.Other than that, it's a cool conversation piece with other bikers.

Two Stars
No better lighting than a stock bulb. The orange is no big deal.

Much brighter over stock!, But one bulb went out after 2 weeks
Very nice upgrade to the stock bulbs on my Triumph street triple, much brighter and these have a very subtle orange glow that isn't thrown out into the beam.I was a little curious about about the glow since a friend of mine said I should try them out.First picture I posted is the new bulb on the left, and my stock on the right. Second is both bulbsEDIT: One of my bulbs went out after 2 weeks of usage...not too happy about that.

Big improvement over stock Honda headlight bulb.
I ride an older, single round headlight Honda. That lighting system is nowhere near as goodas the newer bikes and never will be, but the stock Honda H4 headlight bulb was so dim that itmade night driving dangerous in general and pretty close to impossible inthe rain.I figured the bulb was getting old (do they get dimmer with age? i have no idea), so I put in a new replacement Honda bulb. There was no difference. It wasn't the age of the bulb, it was the quality of the bulb itself. My next purchase was this Philips MotoVision. Big difference. This bulb is much brighter and has a longer and wider range than the stock.I looked into the other motorcycle lighting systems available online, but figured I'dtry this bulb first because of the cost and that no ballast or additional wiring is necessary. The negative that I've found is that once the low beam is adjusted to my liking, the high beam is shining in the trees.I don't think the problem is exclusive to this brand of bulb, as my friend with a Valkyrie has the same problem using a different bulb.

The low beam on this light bulb blew out on ...
The low beam on this light bulb blew out on my vstar 950. I installed the bulb less than a week ago to replace an equivalent automotive bulb that has been in use for a year without issue. The high beam is still working for now, but I suspect this bulb was unable to handle the modest vibration of a medium size cruiser driven by a middle age man.
