Does the pipe extend past the back of the unit so that it can still sit flush with the wall you have baseboards?

The flue does not extend part the backside of the unit, just as far as the unit itself. I apologize.

How does the chimney hook onto the wall? Is the height of the chimney adjustable?

Anchoring the chimney to the wall is optional. If you choose to anchor it, you will need to drill a hole in the wall, insert the provided anchor, and secure it with the provided screw.
