Great clay that produces stable sculpts. Like CPC, but about half the price.
There are many art clays. Air dry clay falls into two categories: non-reinforced clays, like Laguna Wed Clay, Aramaco, Crayola air dry clay, and the cellulose fiber reinforced clays, like DAS and Creative Paper Clay (CPC). Non-reinforced clay becomes very brittle when dry; it shrinks, and cracks, and is lousy for thin section pieces, such as fingers on a hand.DAS and Creative Paper Clay are stable when they dry. A sculpture will last indefinitely indoors. But reinforced clay dries much faster, so your working time is limited. If your project demands a lot of time, then neither this nor CPC is the clay for you. Both DAS and CPC produce a dried sculpt resembling balsa wood, kind of between cardboard and wood. Of the two, DAS shows no appreciable shrinkage whereas CPC does shrink some. DAS seems keeps better than CPC and DAS is about half the price. But DAS is a little stiffer than CPC, though not significantly. DAS has a pleasant odor, like leather, and the clay is kind of like working with leather in clay form.Overall, for small projects, this is a great clay for the money.

Excellent modeling clay
This clay is very pliable and excellent to use with silicone molds. The clay shrinks very little, if at all. I used the clay to decorate an 11x14 canvas to appear as if it is framed and I decorated an 8x11 wood box. I prefer the white clay to the terra cotta because the reddish dye will somewhat cause staining, but either works perfectly. I believe the clay is well worth the price for a 2 1/2 pound package.

Easy to work with
I needed to repair a teracata rabbit for a friend and this was perfect. I remade one ear and the tail, once it was dry I made slip to paint the entire piece. The slip gave me a uniform color and covered seam areas where I had glued some pieces back together.

Very moldable
DAS is my favorite brand of Airdry clay. Easy to use and easy to mold. Dries quick depending on how much you use for what you are making. Minimal cracking if you smooth everything out before it dries. Makes for a fun craft project. I prefer the original color over the terra cotta, only because the terra cotta will stain your hands. Use gloves with this one if you don’t want orange hands

Terracotta ornaments
Very messy to begin with, being it comes out of the pkg wet. Recommend wearing gloves. I love the color. I made Christmas ornaments. I love the way they turned out!

So much fun and for professional use too
I was surprised by the quality of this clay. It's great for molding creative stuff by hand or using it on a professional potter's wheel.I love it and very happy with my purchase. The price is reasonable and it's nice and moist in the packaging - ready to use.It takes about 24hrs to 36 hrs to harden as I'm in Florida and humidity is a nightmare sometimes. The results are professional and strong. It doesn't break or crumble.

Easy to use.
This stuff probably has a thousand uses, but I use it to build up the base for dioramas, after less than great results with sculptamold. It air dries and doesn't seem to shrink or crack, at least the way I use it, which is to build up fairly thin layers. Not too messy either. Good stuff!

Meh
I think I threw this away when I remembered how bad I was at working with clay.
