Best refurbished iPad
ipad works extremely well. It held up very well when I was using it as a tablet and now that I’m using it for all my schoolwork it’s held up like a dream. It is extremely worth it in my opinion. Everything was like new. There were no nicks dents or scratches.

For those on the fence in purchasing a refurbished product.. 2024
First and foremost, this is a refurbished ipad reseller. So there will be obvious differences from purchasing one from here vs Apple store itself. And overall, reviews will SOLELY DEPEND ON WHICHEVER UNIT GETS SHIPPED TO YOU (luck of the draw)I purchased one here in Excellent Condition. I just received it yesterday 02/16/2024 and will begin testing it and I will update this review.AS OF 2/16/24 - 5/5 STARSAS OF 2/22/24 - 4.5/5 STARSPHYSICAL/EXTERIOR: For starters, this is very much as described, however; due to this being sold from a third party refurnished seller, my device came with a laser removed engraving on the back. I suppose the previous owner had an engravement on the back and the seller laser removed it and now there's just a rectangular bar imprint - ideally better if the unit had a new shell but a case can easily cover this or a skin decal. But still appreciative the reseller took the time to laser removed the engraving, it would of been odd to have a special message on there from the previous owner; most refurbished resellers don't do this.As for scratches and scuffs, VERY FEW and they are very minimal and can be easily be covered with a screen protector, nothing major. No dent/dinks or cracks.BATTERY/CHARGER: I went ahead and checked for the battery health of device (look up on google how to do so if you're curious - very simple math); my device sits at 95% - which is pretty good for a device this "old". I will see how well this holds a charge - I mainly use this ipad for note taking and procreate for drawing. The charger brick also appears to be the original despite the obvious appearance of wear (quite a lot of scratches) but it still charges. The USB cable is also new but not sure if its original - again still charges.OVERALL: You cant beat it for the price, it a great deal but again purchasing from third party resellers is always a gamble - you never know what you'll get as per previous reviews. I will continue using this and will update as mentioned.UPDATED REVIEW 2/22/24:As promised, I wanted to test the iPad out fully for almost a week before gathering my final thoughts. I tested the device rigorously every day switching best een taking notes, drawing, media consumption and calling. All my opinions stay intact as from what I had previously mentioned above.CHARGER:The reason I have decided to deduct .5 stars is that the cable that is shipped with the iPad to charge the unit seems loose DESPITE the cable appearing “new” and in packaging. I will leave it unattended for a bit only for me to come back and the charge had cut of. I tried using another USB cable and the charging connection was stable. It seems like a very tiny gripe but If you paid for a device this expensive you would expect for everything to work, especially a cable. I would not like to purchase ANOTHER charger because the one that originally shipped doesn’t have good contact with the port and thus - cuts off charge. (-.5 stars for inconvenience).BATTERY:Now considering that the device has a battery health of about 95% and I am using this almost throughout the entire day switching between various apps; the device holds the charge. I find myself charging every 7-8 hours or so. I do follow the 30-80% rule of charging to ensure the life of the battery is extended. But if I didn’t, I would approximate the device would last roughly 8-9 hours (will vary depending on user usage).SPEAKERS:Speakers are phenomenal , don’t know how Apple managed to squeeze in insane speakers. They get VERY loud. And it sounds very crispy.

Looks and works Like new. Buy renewed and save :-)
Item was exactly as described, like new, and works perfectly. I've had it for a few months now without any issues. It's a great way to save some money if you don't need the absolute latest, newest models. It was shipped quickly as well and packaged securely. Everything needed was in the box.

Good overall
I do basic general iPad stuff with this iPad watching YouTube videos and stalking around Amazon {which I should probably do less of) and checking/responding to emails—which I know is intellectually way under this device’s capabilities but I will say this machine arrived in perfect condition and has a good-recharges to 100% battery. The only goofy thing is it will NOT take an iPhone charger cord it requires a tip I’m not sue of the name of it I just searched on Amazon for an iPad Pro compatible charging cord and ordered a few of them-thankfully so, cause only one fit!Having said all of this my new (to me) iPad works fine and looks great—I will give this originater of this item 5 stars

Ordered Excellent, Received Defective Unit
I've never had too much trouble with refurbs in the past, but this exchange probably cured me of my stinginess.I ordered a refurbished model to be a bit thrifty, splurged for the excellent condition as I needed to use this tablet for work and wanted the screen to be scratch free.Firstly, the item shipped early without any notification from the seller.(I know, who complains about fast shipping, but bare with me). The package was signature required (obviously, its expensive!) but since I was never notified by Amazon or the Seller of a change in delivery date, I was out of town and foolishly expecting the item on Tuesday when it attempted delivery on Saturday. This lead to a chase with FedEx to get the item delivered safely for the entire weekend. So before I even get the package, I'm having problems. But my issues continue even after I get the item out of the box.As a reminder, the definition on the site for Excellent Condition states:"- Cosmetic condition: Excellent (Screen: no scratches. Body: no signs of cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, etc.) will be visible when the product is held 12 inches away).- Functional condition: Fully Functional (exceeds 80% of original battery life, generic or OEM accessories and packaging provided)."The iPad had a large dent next to the camera lens and was noticed the second it was lifted from the packaging. Blatant cosmetic damage that can be spotted from much further than 12" away - my friends spotted it from across a kitchen table without issue. But hey, if it is 'Fully Functional' then I can handle a dent, right? Its going in a case anyways.Only IT DIDN'T WORK!After hours of troubleshooting the item, it refused to pair with the New Gen2 Apple Pen- thus making it useless for my work in digital illustration. (I tested the pen on my friend's iPad and we determined the pen worked just fine btw!) It could connect to wifi, but bluetooth pairing was out of the question.A weekend of headaches and irritation only to be so defeated from my whole experience that I ended up saying "F this" and went to the Apple Store the next day to get a brand new tablet entirely. I dropped my $750 paperweight off to be returned in the same trip.TL;DR - I saved a couple bucks for a wasted a weekend and a defective product that I had to return anyways. It's always a gamble with a refurbish, I'll admit, but I've never been soured this badly.Save yourself the headache and just invest in a new one that is guaranteed to work right.
