Q: the bottles are furnished with two different gaskets, with hole and without hole. why the two different gaskets?

They both work the same and I can't find any solid answers as to why you would choose one over the other. Some brewers claim the "hat top" (no hole) style gives a better seal resulting in better bubbles for their brew. I've had excellent results with the regular gaskets (holed).

Q: What is the inside diameter of the hole? and if you are measuring, what's the outside diameter?

It's the exact same as what is found on a Grolsch Beer Bottle .roughly the inside diameter is 1/4" and the outside diameter is 1 inch don't know what you need them for but they work well for me. I hope that helps you .
