Although the delivery of the material took longer than expected, I have had good communication from the seller to explain. The material is a good match with my sofa which is the same colour, this is the only supplier I could find online with the right shade of teal. I have re-covered a piece of furniture and found the material to be bit stretchy so the next day I found the material had stretched a bit so redone the corners, it does look great though so I'm very happy with the material.

This was a birthday present to go on my big new sofa. The colour is warm and rich and the texture is plush on one side, the other side is less luxurious. The throw is heavy and nicely bound and very warm. I have it folded over the end of my velvet sofa with velvety cushions in front of it.

This material was perfect for making a cushion and it was really good to be able to order just half a metre. However I have no idea why it took so long to get here - over 3 weeks. The company appears to be UK based. This would stop me ordering from them again.

The product is extremely good. The service is not. I ordered a lot of samples from this seller and was really pleased with what I received and so ordered more, even though the price of samples had doubled. Some of the samples were for little things I'm making, some because I'm busy doing out my late father's house which was left to me. This second batch of fabric was cancelled by the seller and when I've looked they've almost doubled the price again, to almost four times the original price. While they gave no reason for cancelling, it appears they did it in order to increase their prices. The cancellation email says that the product was out of stock. However I had ordered a lot of different products and all were cancelled before the price increase, after the order was sat in my orders for over a week.Now, having run a business I accept that a company may increase their prices if they have been under charging, but I would never cancel my current orders to do so and upset clients. As it is, we had selected on fabric from this seller as the theme of our living room, with 5 rooms left to decide upon. We had being going to buy all the furnishings from this seller but now we are going to have to seriously consider if it is worth the risk as we can't have orders cancelled after ordering so that the seller can charge more.Unfortunately, the service has completely destroyed my love of the fabric and may mean I have to reconsider a design scheme I had decided upon. And just in case anyone questions whether I was going to order furnishings, the attached picture is my living room with one of the fabric samples pinned next to the wall we used to determine our theme. We were going to order cushions, throws, curtains, meters of fabric. Now I'm not so sure. What a disappointment, especially as I have numerous other rooms still to decide on.I am genuinely upset by this as I had my heart set on the duck egg tartan for my living room. Probably the linen floral for my daughters fairy room and I was hoping to see the green for my sons room, as well as looking for furnishings for our master bedroom lost conversion, the hallways and some bits for our kitchen.This is the first time we've had the opportunity to create a beautiful home and I am heartbroken.

The velvet looked good quality, no cheap sheen to the fabric. It’s probably not meant for upholstery but I used it to cover a small footstool that will only get occasional use. In black with nickel studs the stool looks very smart.

Took a long time to arrive and then just not what the photograph implied. The colour was too pale and a real disappointment. The quality of material is fine - I’ll use it for something but not the upholstery project. A real shame.
