High Desert Alfalfa Hay
I always order this High Desert Alfalfa for my Rabbits because it is always fresh and my rabbits love it. I have ordered other brands and it was brown and my rabbits would not eat it. High Desert is fresh and always green. I cannot say enough about the quality of this Hay. It is worth the price you pay and the box is packed. Thank You High Desert.♥️🤗♥️E. Dowling

Doesn't trigger my asthma like store bought hay
This is not cheap alfalfa hay, so I was dismayed at the size of the box when it arrived. I needn't have been as we are only now running out--after 8 weeks. They really pack it into the box, so you get more than you think (compared to the big box alfalfa hay). You definitely get value for your money. I am back today to get on the subscription plan because this stuff is just SO.MUCH.BETTER than store bought. The quality is excellent with the hay being very fresh. It's weed free, bright green, smells lovely and has no off odors, mildew or mold. I have terrible allergies (which are not made happy by a guinea pig in the house!), but this hay does not trigger my asthma like dusty, store bought alfalfa does. And while there are wisps and straggly bits of plant material, there is very little dust.We use a tiny, wooden hay rick contraption to hold the hay, keeping it both contained as well as out of the shavings and poop zone. [Seen on Amazon, search "andwe Hay Feeder Less Wasted Wooden Food Feeding Rack for Rabbit Guinea Pig Chinchilla - Standing Pet-self Feeding Hay Manager"] Dumpling free feeds as he needs to, and seems very happy with his new alfalfa supply.

Best Alfalfa Hay So far. Bunnunies Loves it.
Hay came nicely packaged, small cut with lots of leafy parts which seem to be my buns favorite parts. It is surprisingly very green, but firm. We have a picky 4 month old bun that has been for whatever reason refusing to eat a lot of the other brand alfalfa hay I put out. Since, buns go into GI stasis when they don't eat often, we were seriously worried. He loved it. As soon as I opened the box he started eating it. I would have given it 5 stars but I didn't realize how small of box I ordered.

More than it seems
At first when I saw the box I thought I paid more than I would have liked but when I tried to transfer to an air-tight container it expands to an enormous amount. Initially I attempted to leave other food for wild rabbits that visited my garden, but they had absolutely no interest or did not recognize pellets or Timothy biscuits. However,, rabbits big and small love this stuff. When my wife asked if I really paid money for grass (hay) I proudly said yes as we are both rabbit lovers. Update: bought even larger size for the winter before the foxes come to kill my wild bunny friends.

Nice Alfalfa hay
The alfalfa hay came nicely boxed but I would have preferred it be in a bag, inside the box to protect it from getting wet. The hay is fresh, green and smells great but it has a lot of stems. My rabbit doesn't like the stems as much as the leaves and softer parts. He does not eat the stems of the kale either.

Absolutely Marvelous...Cleo Approves
This comes in a pretty good size box. Cleo aka Hunny Bunny was sound asleep. When I opened the box her powerful sniffer went on high alert and she was wide awake. When you open the box is packed full of this mean green aromatic alfalfa with a very nice Thank You card. The only issue I had is that I wish it had been packed inside some sort of storage bag inside the box, but not a real big problem. Now my photo doesn't really do it justice because it's extremely green and I believe the flash on my camera lightened it a bit. Of course, with any rabbit, alfalfa should be used sparingly unless they are young. I just thought Cleo needed an extra supplement with her diet. This box will last for a long time. Great job was done with this.

This hay is usually good. Edit below.
This hay is too pricey to have mold. ***** Edit: The company stood by their product. He apologized profusely and very embarred of the quality control. He will be addressing this issue. He replaced the alfalfa hay with a large box of alfalfa hay. He did prefer to see a picture of my product; I would expect that from anyone. Just like when you would have to produce proof in any personal return at a store. I am very pleased because this is the only hay that I have found that is not full of dust, is not just shake, and no weeds. I have tried many companies and this one is the best.
