Woven: Understanding the Bible as One Seamless Story Paperback – March 16, 2021

I cannot say enough great things about this book. It arrived on time and in perfect condition. But more importantly, the humor and educational level this author brings to teaching about the Bible is unmatched. I am enthralled with this book and laugh out loud on almost every page. Have recommended to many people already. If you’re struggling to understand the Bible or are feeling overwhelmed, this book was written for YOU. God Bless!

I absolutely love this book. It makes everything make sense and is very easy to read. May even read a second or third time. Truly wonderful to see the big connected picture.

The stories Angie Smith tells gives the Bible a new breath of fresh air and livens up the characters and events and gave me a feeling that there is so much more to the stories that I missed before when reading the Bible.

I purchased this book as we were discussing women of the bible during our ladies bible study and one of our ladies highly recommended it. I started reading it and feel in love with it and the story line began to make much more sense on the lineage of Jesus from Genesis to Revelation. I really enjoyed how Angie presents the information of this book, as she invites each reader to journey alongside her as she teaches the richness and depth of Scripture. The second thing that I really enjoyed about reading this book is how Angie highlights key themes, characters and events all along the way. By doing this she is able to illuminate how each individual passage of Scripture contributes to the much larger narrative. Angie really provides each reader with many helpful tools and strategies for studying the Bible effectively (especially if you are new to reading the Bible), with tips on how to navigate the difficult passages (more so of the lineage and birthing order), understanding the cultural context (boy can this be challenging in its self) and applying the biblical truth to our everyday lives. I feel that this book is not only very informative but also empowering, equipping each and every ready to engage with Scripture in a more meaningful way. I highly recommend reading Woven: Understanding the Bible as one Seamless Story whether your a beginner or a seasoned student of the bible, you will not be disappointed and it offer enrichment to your journey of faith. .(unfortunately, i don't have any pictures or videos to share, our dogs shredded my book....booo)

A strong start, with specific references and maps was extremely helpful, and established my expectations for the rest of the book. However, the many books of the Bible were never truly 'woven' together. This was a daunting task so I give it 4 stars.

This book was recommended to me. It is a great book for learning how the theme of the Bible is WOVEN (title) together from Genesis to Revelation. The thread of Jesus is throughout. Some light hearted humor and stories added by author.

The author of this book spoke at our church & she was just fantastic! I recently ordered this book to start reading for my next bible study group & I'm so excited! I love how down to earth she is & am looking forward to having the bible brought together through her incredible personality & love of God!
