As a freelancer, I work remotely often and wanted a second monitor that doesn't attach to my laptop. I'm happy with this monitor, it's super light, very thin, the cover has one semi-hard side to protect the screen and also doubles as a stand so no editional equipment is needed. It easily fits together with my laptop in the laptop compartment of my backpack. If you're travelling light - great option! The cover has like a small soft-fabric ledge that holds the monitor up, it looks a bit flimsy and probably could be better but it works fine on a stable surface. The only issue I'm finding could be a lot better is the colour display, it has a slight greenish tan, maybe I'm just superspoilt from my retina displays but I don't like doing my graphic work on this display as the colours always turn out very different when I switch back to a calibrated screen. Good value for money.

Firstly I will say that this device completely changed my productivity - Using it as a second monitor with both Windows and Mac has been game changing! and on the occasional use with gaming it is great!The screen comes with two cables, a USB C - C cable (with USB A adaptor) and a HDMI to micro HDMI cable. More than enough for most peoples need.That being said I have a few points to share. I am not a huge fan on the case the screen comes with - it feels quite flimsy when the screen sits on it and does not have that premium look of the previous versions. For that version I keep my screen on a tablet stand instead.Secondly I feel its imperative to be familiar with the power standards of the devices you wish to use with this screen. For example, the USB C port can be used as a display port for Windows and Mac (while providing power) but certain gaming devices do not have USB C display output protocols which means you will need to use the Micro HDMI to use this device. I will also add that while this does work on the switch, the USB port located on the switch does not provide enough power to the screen to power it on, you will need to use a higher power supply

Je l'utilise avec raspberry pi 400, principalement pou Netflix, mais égalent comme écran secondaire sur mon pc portable.Le pas de vis universel pour support d'appareil photo au dos de l'écran est très pratique, puisqu'il permet de connecter n'importe quel trépied. Je l'utilise beaucoup avec un bras articulé sur pince, compact et efficace. La pochette fournie est intelligemment prévue et fait très bien son travail de protection/support.La qualité d'image est très bonne, la lecture par micro hdmi ou type c est fluide est les couleurs plus que correctes.La consommation est assez faible pour tenir facilement 8h entre le raspberry pi 400 et l'écran sur une batterie de 24000mAh.

El monitor está bueno pero a diferencia de un monitor 1080p donde cada pixel es un pixel, para aprovechar bien los 2k hay que usarlo en 1280x800 en donde cada pixel son 4 pixeles y la imágen se ve excelente. El problema es que las 2 alternativas para que la imágen se vea bien en este monitor es usando resolución 2560x1600 en la cual se ve todo muy chico o 1280x800 donde las cosas son un poco grandes. Con las demás resoluciones se ve un poco borroso, hay una opción vividPixel que ayuda pero no es lo deal. En definitiva, para este tamaño de pantalla me inclino más por comprar paneles 4k o 1080p. Adicionalmente tengo que comentar que vino con una fuga de luz abajo a la derecha.

Ich war lange auf der Suche nach einem portablen externen Monitor. Ich kann zwar viel auf dem Laptop arbeiten, aber nur ab und zu brauche ich einen größeren oder einen zweiten Monitor. Außerdem hatte ich den Wunsch, dass ich die Arbeitsplätze auch leicht switchen kann.Nun ist dieses neue 16-Zoll-Modell von Asus rausgekommen und ich war sehr gespannt.Kurzum: Es hat alle meine Erwartungen vollstens erfüllt.- es reicht tatsächlich nur ein USB-C-Kabel zum Laptop für den Betrieb. Nur für die maximal mögliche Helligkeit des portablen Monitors benötigt man ein weiteres USB-C-Kabel als Stromquelle. Aber mir reicht die Standardhelligkeit für drinnen auch so vollkommen aus.- die Bildqualität ist sehr gut und das Display entspiegelt. 100% DCI-P3 ist für die Fotobearbeitung bestens geeignet. Allerdings ist der Monitor standardmäßig auf "knallibunti" eingestellt, um beim ersten Einschalten etwas Eindruck zu machen (Sättigung gefühlt überall bei 150%). Hier sollte man dran denken, den Bildmodus auf Standard zu stellen, dann passt alles.- 120Hz sind beim Betrieb einfach eine Wonne, weil alle Animationen des Betriebssystems flüssiger laufen und allein dadurch einem der Laptop auf einmal schneller vorkommt. Man sollte nur drauf achten, auch in den Einstellungen auf 120Hz zu stellen, denn standardmäßig beliefern Windows und Linux nur 60Hz. Die Umstellung ist aber kein Problem und mit ein paar Klicks erledigt.- besonders clever: Beim Kickstand ist unten ein Standard-Stativ-Loch, um den Monitor auf jeden handelsüblichen Stativ aufstellen zu können. Natürlich sollte das Stativ entsprechend stabil sein. Mit meinem Webcam-Stativ funktioniert es perfekt und ich kann den Monitor "schwebend" über meinem Laptopdisplay aufstellen.- der Kickstand unterstützt auch das horizontale Ablegen, sodass man den Monitor hochkant verwenden kann.- auch gut ist, dass eine Tasche von Asus mitgeliefert wird. Es sind auch Netze in der Tasche vorhanden, um Kabel etc. verstauen zu können.- Kleiner Kritikpunkt: Ein eigener Displayschutz zum Drüberstülpen wäre noch wünschenswert. Da die Displayränder recht dünn sind, muss man mit dem Monitor beim Platzieren relativ filigran umgehen – ich bin eine Person, die sehr ungern auf Displays rumtapst (und dieser Bildschirm ist btw auch kein Touchscreen, aber das wusste ich ja).Fazit: Ein sehr schöner 16 Zoll Monitor, der portabel und vielseitig ist. Der Preis ist zwar knackig, wenn man ihn mit den China-Angeboten auf Amazon vergleicht, aber für DCI-P3 und 120Hz finde ich ihn angemessen. Eine klare Empfehlung!

Produit conforme à la description. Facile à brancher et à utiliser. Rapidité de réponse et qualité de visualisation des vidéos. Diffusion du son de bonne qualité, mais plutôt faible. Protection pour transport (et pied) pratique. Bon rapport qualité-prix.

Commentaire valable pour le modèle MB16AH.L'écran possède des hauts parleurs sur le bas de l'écran, un port jack 3,5 mm, un port usb C et un port mini HDMI.L'écran est fourni avec un adaptateur secteur UK/EU et une pochette gris antracite permettrant son rangement et son suppport à l'horizontal ou à la verticale.L'écran est fourni avec un cable usb C vers usb C (l'écran s'alimente via l'énergie du pc)L'écran est fourni avec un cable mini HDMI vers HDMI (l'écran devra être alimenté en double via le cable usb C sur la prise secteur ou sur un autre moyen d'alimentation).Testé sur Mac et PC. OKSur PC, le mode rotation automatique de l'écran fonctionne (pas sur Mac), il est cepedant nécessaire de télécharger le widget "Asus Display Widget" et parfois de redemarrer le PC (ça bug parfois).Je l'utilise régulièrement dans mes déplacements via le port USB C, et j'en suis totalement ravi, l'écran est ultra léger.Le seul point qu'on pourrait lui reprocher, si vous êtes dans la création graphique par exemple, c'est sa résolution qui n'est pas aussi fine qu'un écran fixe.Mais on lui pardonne aisément pour son poids plume et son bon rapport qualité prix.
