Accent with your Bahtinov mask is simple. Start by taking the Bahtinov mask in an inexpensive UV or skylight filter that suits your camera lens. [Filter not included, must be purchased separately] Center a fairly bright start in your camera and get focus, then rough without tightening the filter screws holding the mask on your camera lens. Take a short exposure. Star image will show diffraction spikes. The "centre" game will most likely be moved to either game. This is showing the artistic blurred. Adjust the focus of your camera and re-expose the star, showing once again the diffraction spike pattern. Repeat the process until you get the spring-spike central against the star spikes and the other centered. When you get a symmetrical pattern, you have achieved the best possible focus. Remove the mask, center your target object and take your pictures.

Received the wrong size.
I ordered a 58mm, I received a 77mm. Tbh, I was going to order a 77mm a some point in the future depending on the success I had with the 58mm, but I really wanted a 58mm. I've given a generous 3-stars as the 77mm is very nice, but it's not what I ordered. Ah well. Probably going to order a 58mm from somewhere else now, there's only so many 77mm I want.
