I had to laugh at your question: that's exactly what i am using it for! Because I am using straw as a substrate (wide C:N ratio), I am routinely adding wheat bran to narrow the C:N ratio. Wheat bran is relatively expensive compared to straw so keep the bran amounts in the 5 to 10% range (all based on a dry weight basis).
