Works as described and decent quality

I hate throwing things that still has decent life in it and these are perfect to meet my needs in salvaging the cords I remove from equipment that no longer works. Most times the cords are heavy duty that are installed in power tools, PSU, surge protector, etc...and very nice quality so these adapters help me to give second life to those cords and I'm able to create different length short extension cables. It's not sleek and the I think the design can be improved a bit. However the price is decent.

wasn't sure I needed this many but keep finding use for one every time I turn around. NOT SAFE DANGER-RO-SO. I put one on 12 inches of 10/2 UF an wired it into an outdoor disconnect for a temporary outlet...chef Kiss

These plugs & sockets are sold under a number of different company names, but all the plastic housings have identical defects and suffer from crude screw terminals for the cord connection. These are the most affordable products and can be made to work reliably with some diligence. For connecting to stranded wire cords, I recommend tinning the stranded wire ends to avoid problems from stray wire strands. Wiring connections will be mechanically stronger if you shape the wire ends in an L shape or even better using a J shape, but available space is very limited and assembly tedious.

Wanted to make multiple 6’ chords out of one 100 ft chord. These adapters were great, easy to use and good price
