Good product at a great price. Arrived as advertised!
The Ridgeline towers that I ordered had been discontinued and replaced by the Sightline model. I was able to order these Ridgelines on closeout for a super discount over the Sightlines, and they included everything needed to install them (given the correct clips and bar adapters) on my vehicle with my accessories. I picked up the clips and bar adapters locally and everything went together with no issues. The box did not appear factory sealed, but everything was included and in perfect condition.

Sturdy and reliable if you are diligent.
First off, make sure you have the right clips. The Yakima website can help you select the correct ones for your car. Length matters and if they are too long the rack will fall off and if too short you won't be able to mount them at all. Second, the clips are made to align with dimples on the inside face of the roof rails. Make sure they engage with the dimples squarely before torquing them down. Use the provided torque wrench to get the proper tension. If your rails have multiple dimples, be sure to use the same one on each side so the load bars are mounted perpendicular to the center line of the roof. Failing to do these things will make it more likely your rack will fall off! When storing your load bars be sure to tighten the bold that holds clips against the towers before putting them away. The outer clip likes to fall off and get lost. They cannot be purchased separately and you will have to buy an entire set to replace one. This is the weakest part of the design but is not a problem if you tighten them as stated above before storage. I regularly use mine with Yakima HD bars to carry an iKamper 3 which weighs 165lbs so they are very sturdy and will not fall off if properly installed.

Great towers remember to buy the lock cores to match with racks and other additions
Great towers that fit great and the price was right through Amazon. Much nicer than factory BMW towers but you have to buy locks cores separately. I liked that because it allowed me to match the cores on my storage box and ski tracks. Now I only need one key for all of them.

Hard to install
The Yakima ridgeline towers are very sturdy on my roof once installed, but I found it very difficult to align the ridge clips to my flush mount roof rails.I have used Yakima roof racks since the 1990s with ease on 2 previous cars but the ridgeline towers were much more difficult to install.

Overpriced, horrible directions
Fine, and seem to get the job done but way overpriced and the directions are HORRIBLE. They seem ok once I figured out how to get them on but the plastic cover seems a bit flimsy.
