Q: Would this work for making a slip n slide ?

It would probably work over a very smooth surface, however I would think a 6mil or heavier would hold up better.

Q: Does this have any plastic smell to it?

No smell, this is great stuff. Very thick & quite clear.

Q: Will this break down in sunlight? I’m looking to use this as a cold frame cover, and maybe as camper underpinning.

I haven’t had it that long but what i used it for is i have a closed in screen porch off the kitchen with exposure to weather and sun light. It seems pretty durable and a good quality. Time will tell after the winter but my opinion is that it looks and feels like it will hold up. Good quality plus if i have to replace plenty left over.

Q: The description states it weighs 100 lbs. Is that accurate?

That's likely true for that largest size (40' x 100') but not for the smaller rolls. They are heavy, though. I get the 3' x 200' size and it's probably 20-30#, but they're worth it. I've tried a lot of similar products but this one is the best. It has never ripped or leaked. I use it to catch animal waste, and am grateful every time I can either dump the waste off it and put the sheet back down or roll it up and toss it if it is too 'used.' It has saved me hours and hours of labor.
