The bottom had given away in my old plastic collapsible colander; too much hot liquid drained through it I guess. My kitchen is small so the collapsible colander is definitely needed and a great space saver. When I found this one, I was impressed with the stainless steel bottom, which eliminated my previous problem. It works great! Collapses and stacks (or stands) easily in the cabinet. Beautiful color and sturdy so I highly recommend!

Very space saving.

I've been searching for a collapsible colander for months. Most didn't fit my wants- I think it's important that it can sit over a pot to drain and this one also has a very sturdy bottom made of stainless steel. I would love to see this also made in a smaller size because sometimes you have less food to drain in a colander.

Bought it for our camper to give us more room. I love it.

I love replacing my kitchen tools and cookware with silicone instead of metal. Not only is silicone easier to clean, but it's also very sturdy and easy to use. When my metal strainer/colander started to get on my nerves (if washing those things out after straining some vegetables that you've just boiled isn't a test of your temper, then I don't know what is), I turned to Amazon to find myself a replacement.I love this thing! Not only is it super easy to clean, it's also super sturdy and so convenient to store. I originally worried that it might be one of those things that collapses when you need it to stay standing, but I gave it a shot and I'm so glad that I did. You can keep it at any height you'd like, and you don't have to worry about it flopping over, even when you pour a whole pot of boiling hot water and vegetables into it.The only downside to this might be that the holes are a little big, like when I try to strain pasta. It's silicone and stainless steel, so durable, non-toxic and collapsable. A difficult thing to find. Very happy with it.
