Great product, no smell from water ! Easy to fit.

I just installed this on my RV. It was so easy to install, as I had an interior receptacle near the WH. Just had to drill a couple of holes to make that work. The only drawback was that I had to buy a $10 1-3/16" socket also, which is larger than most sets have. Over the 20 year warranty period of this anode rod I will save a lot on regular aluminum or magnesium anode rod replacements. I also like that it uses Titanium instead, so no worry about aluminum consumption from cooking water or residue on dishes from the hot water supply, not to mention in the shower and for laundry. I like to use preheated water when cooking. That saves a bit on propane, too.

RV using 12gallon water heater using very hard well water in Florida. Water supply has a sediment filter then catalytic carbon filter then water softener and carbon block filter, and hot water smelled. Plugged unit in and sulfur smell went away,

I liked the ease of installation but was disappointed that it performed poorly. Created a slimy condition in my water heater. Had to remove it.

I have lived the full time rv life for a year now because of work. I started to get the sulfur smell a few months in. I kept flushing my hot water tank and putting treatment in it to eliminate the smell every 3-4 weeks. I found this product and had high hopes because of the reviews. I cleaned my tank and installed it (install was easy). Verified my circuit was closed with the green light on the 120vac plug, 3 weeks later I’m still getting the rotten egg smell. Idk if I got a defective product but save your money and do not buy this.

We’re on say 2 of having this little gem installed. It really works. We have extremely hard water with our iron levels being above average … shockingly zero rotten egg smell! I debated on purchasing $150 electric rod but decided to give the cheaper one a chance and so far so good. Installation was longer than anticipated. We had to use a breaker bar but after that it was smooth sailing. I will update later if anything changes

Great product. Easy install, nice green function LED, long power cord - green LED definitely goes on and off based on a completed circuit and not just whether it is plugged in. Excellent customer service. Installed on a small water heater under the sink and it is working good.

I would drain my water heater tank every Sunday just before leaving the camper for the week. If I didn’t, the hot water would smell like sulfur the next weekend. I installed this product in my camper hoping to solve that problem. It did delay the smell a bit. It took about 3-4 weeks but the smell did however return. Returning this product.

We have a rotten egg smell in our water at our Rv park. This worked instantly to eliminate that horrible smell. Highly recommend this.

The product was easily installed once you got the old rod out, the negative is you have to purchase a 1 3/16 to install it.The smell of sulfur went away within the hour, we did drain the tank completely prior and that may have helped.We are happy with the product and hope it stays working.

Our RV suddenly started getting a rotten egg smell in the hot water. I ordered this beauty and the problem disappeared. Super pleased with it in the month I’ve had it so far.Had to buy a socket set for bigger sizes than I normally use.

Tried to install, it's thread is to big to go into the tanks coupler. Can't say if it works or not, will need to see if I can order correct one.
