I would highly recomnend this product. I have been looking for a natural alternative to chemical hair dyes. This product is natural, free of parabens/sulphates/ammonia and avoids using a whole load of carcogenic ingredients that most other brands who claim to be 'natural' use. The henna has transformed my hair - the longer you leave it, the deeper the colour - in that way you can control the shade you want - it has softened my hair and I usually suffer from dry/falling hair so it has definitly helped with that. The manual process of making it is worth when you know you are putting something safe and beneficial in your hair. I have also purchased other items from this seller in a farmers market. The owner has a range of other products she sells which I also highly recommend. Try her hibiscus flower powder - its an amazing amazing product too!!!

So, this product comes in a 2 step process. Unless you want Orange hair, you must do both steps. The process is long and a total pain. The first box you make a paste and let sit for 2 hours. Then make sure you have clean dry hair no shampoo or conditioner in. Then lather on the clay/Paste. This is difficult. Have you tried to plaster clay on your hair ?? No fun. After you finally get the paste on you let it sit for 1.5 hrs. Now, you are 3.5 hours into this but you’re not done yet. Now, comes step 2. But before this make sure you have rinsed your hair with water only and no product. It takes FOREVER to take the paste out amd still your hair will feel “gritty.” And finally when you think you got all of the paste out you rinse again and the water is STILL running orange. My hair felt “raw” with a million tangles. So, you hope for the best & towel dry your hair. I used a hair dryer. After all this you are now 4 hours into the process. Then you start step 2. You mix just like step 1 and again plaster the clay/paste in your hair. It began to dry so I added even more water and still dry and added even more water. The clay dried and hardened after 2.5 hours. Finally, time to wash my hair and see the fruit of my labor (Covering my gray roots.) Again, it took FOREVER to get all the clay out. Hair felt raw and dry. I applied condtioner just so I could slide my fingers into my hair and get the grit out. I literally just stood under the shower head for 15 mins to get the paste out. Finally, got out of the shower & towel dried my hair. Looked in the mirror and was prepared to see total black with at least 90% gray coverage. I was so P***** when I saw my grays and the other grays were a very light brown color that will most likely wash out the next time I wash my hair. So, basically after nearly 6.5 hours I got 20% gray coverage. This process of Henna has been around for 4000 years. People may have had 7 hours to burn on their hair back don’t know. I only had to use this because I am pregnant and needed gray coverage. My permanente black root touch up every 4-6 weeks may contain chemicals but this process and the results you get is horrendous. 2 hours in the salon, w/100% coverage, styled hair and a killer blow out compared to this OMG !!!! Cannot wait to get back into the salon.If you are deathly afraid of chemicals, have 7 hours every 3 WEEKS to burn on your hair & have very low expectations for the turn out and enjoy mixing & pasting then this product is for you !!!

As with other reviewers, I have good news and bad news.The good news: it colors my hair nicely. Applying Henna turns my grey hair to brown. After applying indigo, it turns all my hair to black. I don't have any side effects.The bad news: the color doesn't stick if I wash my hair with shampoo. If I just wet my hair with water, it last about 1 week so far.But I rather do this way than using hair dyes with chemicals.Note to seller: please don't add any chemicals to make the color stick to hair (longer).

The media could not be loaded. It works very well, yes it’s time consuming but It’s time well spent. The results are long lasting and you don’t ever have to worry about leaving it on too long unlike chemical dyes.Tip1: prior to adding the hennaI use apple cider vinegar to cleanse my hair and scalp and also to finger detangle in place of shampoo, once I rinse that out I towel blot my hair then begin adding in the henna.Tip2:I let the indigo stay in my hair all night and rinse it out in the morning with water then I put conditioner on my hair and cover it with a plastic cap for at least an hour To soften my hair , then I rinse it out and style as usual.The results are so natural. Your hair is damage free and soft. You can’t beat that.

I don’t like to use chemical filled hair color. I bought this product to cover my grays. I must say the two step process is a little time consuming but well worth the time. I really liked how the color turned out. It also made my hair soft and conditioned. I will definitely continue to use this product.

Well, I have some great news and some bad news on this product. The great news is that after a number of times trying to find something that would not irritate my skin and scalp, I finally found it...this item...and believe you me, i'm one of those persons with such sensitive skin that I think that even if I smell the other tint products, I'd get irritation. Happily this one does not.Now the bad news....unfortunately, even though it doesn't irritate my skin, it does not keep the color. It seems to wash right off..I mean it may stick a little, but the majority runs off...and I wait for a long time...I mean, one needs to wait for 2 hours for solution, and then another 2 hours for scalp, and still, it doesn't do the trick. So I am still out of luck...looking for something that does not irritate my skin and that will actually dye my hair. Terrible..I'm in a bad situation so far.

I would like to use this product to condition my hat, but I need to know what curd is. According to the instructions on the box I need this I make a paste to condition my hair.

Used the henna and indigo powder for my hair. On first usage it gave a nice warm tone to my hair. On second usage the color became richer and I'm loving it. Apart from coloring, it has a great conditioning impact on my hair. I highly recommend it!!

After applying their heena and indigo powder, my hairs have become nice black color and healthy too
