Oat Hay for Rabbits & Small Pets, 3 lbs

Very little hay dust in comparison to other brands! Loved it and my guinea pigs loved it too. Super fresh hay.

Love opening the box and smelling the hay! Beautiful color and size. Fresh stems and little waste. Will buy only from then after trying others! It’s a good buy because our bunny eats it and very little thrown away!PS. I am ordering another 7 lb box. I have ordered 4 other brands and this one is consistently GREAT. Not packed in plastic...no mold.. our bunny loves this brand and I will never order any other. Btw...I use their pellets as a one at a time treat! Great stuff too!All their products are a great value and no twigs or sticks or other junk! *****Update: Consistently the best hay!!!! I have tried Oxbow and several others! Pebbles ONLY likes this brand of oat hay plus the lil egg with a treat inside perks his nose up quickly! NOTHING negative to say about it! Just ordered more!

Update Dec '24: I switched to another brand temporarily because they have bigger boxes and I was tired of ordering this every week for our two rabbits. I'm switching back because this hay is better quality and waaay less dusty than the other kind. Especially since it changed ownership. But please Viking Farmer, please give an option for bigger boxes in the future! 🙏Original: My rabbit didn’t care for timothy hay so I switched her to this and she loves it. The first couple times I ordered this box was great, but unfortunately the past few boxes I’ve ordered had a lot of hay dust in the middle. There’s a lot that goes to waste and my rabbit’s nose turns green after eating it, so not ideal but still better than buying tiny bags from other pet stores.

I have been ordering this product for years and the quality has never been this bad. I understand that this is an organic product and quality is not consistent due to weather and other environmental conditions. However, this should never be supplied to customers. Not one strand of hay is usable for my prairie dogs to consume.

My bunnies are loving this hay! It's thicker almost like straw and has more oat kernels than oxbow oat bags. I sprinkle a bit of it over the bunnies orchard grass in the morning. It's expensive though! I'm going to see if I can get a bale from a local feedstore this year but when I do, I will be measuring the quality against this awesome product.

My Chinchilla’s and Guinea Pigs treated the Oat Hay like it was their usual hay. I was very disillusioned by the size of the box. It literally lasted me two days. Not cost effective by any means…so, I am afraid this one is going back to the to speak…😉

My bunnies really enjoy this hay. It’s always green, fresh, and has a nice texture that keeps them coming back for more. I’ve noticed they eat it enthusiastically, which makes me feel good about giving them something they clearly love. It’s consistent in quality, and I haven’t had any issues with it, so it’s become a reliable choice for their diet. The shipping is reliable as well. Will continue to order!
