Good quality and hits the spot!
I was having weekly massages to try and release tension in my neck and shoulders by pressing trigger points in this area. I found this by accident, bought it and love it! It gets all the right spots that my messuage therapist did so it's great for keeping things looser and going longer between appointments. It's very good quality with no rough edges and sturdy but flexible meaning you can make small adjustments to where it sits.

Very helpful for occipital neuralgia type pain
Ive suffered from back pain for a long time but over the past couple of years have had quite excruciating neck pain. I went for massages which helped temporarily but never really helped my neck. My search for pain relief led me to learn about occipital neuralgia which I have self diagnosed myself with! So far I’ve mostly been sticking the end of my hairbrush into the sorr parts but I wanted to try and buy something. I looked at a number of contraptions and bought this about 2 weeks ago. I wasn’t expecting an instant cure but it looked like it could help. It took me a while to figure out how to manipulate my head and neck into the correct position. I find i have to physically move my head with my hands to do it. I’m not sure ive yet found the absolute best position but it is certainly helping. I find the 2 nodules for the occupital part of the neck the most helpful. I also find that moving moving my head around a little while lying on it means it does its work a little better. Its a good weight and well made. Would I send it back? No. It definitely gives me relief. Ill be interested to see how it helps in the long run. I know i can expect to be instantly cured after having pain for so long. I am happy with it as it can give me much better relief that i can myself and it actually pinpoints the pain better that the massages I was going for where they couldn’t seem to understand where my pain was so kept going more for the shoulder area.

Effective
This is a really simple device which unlike complicated electronic massagers can be used alone, without power and without worrying too much that you're doing it wrong. It's less versatile than a gun style massager for example, but it's advantages make it a very viable alternative.Using it is really easy, and doesn't require any special training. Once you have it in position your own body weight will do the job. I found it did a great job of relieving muscle tension. I hadn't tried this kind of acupressure in the past and I was very surprised and impressed by the results.I have a number of massage tools and I thought this one did just as well as the rest without the hassle of moving parts and batteries etc. It's also similar in price, which seems odd as it's essentially just a piece of moulded plastic, but the design is clearly good, and the material is clearly robust enough to create the required effect, and to last many years, but also soft enough to lie on without causing pain.Overall, this is a surprisingly effective device which has been effective in reducing pain and tightness in my back muscles, and I would definitely recommend it.

Another bizarre uncomfortable looking but highly effective self massage tool
With back pain inevitably comes neck and shoulder pain, they seem connected somehow.....Which leads me neatly onto another extremely odd looking and very heavy self massage tool from LittleMum and having used the tool for my back I'm more aware of what to do and how this time but still watched the video for best positions which again although short went on and on longer than Lord Of The Rings.I do recommend forcing yourself to watch the video as unless you are already a masseur it will give you the best start possible, it looks uncomfortable and is very heavy, but with an open mind a clear floor and plenty of space to relax in you will find your level for comfort and pain relief, do not overdo things or push yourself to try too hard of results are not immediate, positioning is everything and it takes a few tries to get the hang of where you should be for the best results for you.Another easy recommendation purely for the fact it is helping my neck and left shoulder pain a bit and I appreciate that help.

Great for the neck
A great neck massager which can be used anywhere that is straightIt’s portable enough to easily be moved to different placesThe massage is very relaxing; initially it can feel quite rough, but after a while any tightness in the neck disappears and it becomes very soothing.I find it really helps aches and pains disappear.I get most relief using on my neck and it’s definitely more comfortable on the neck than my lower or upper back.Overall, great product, very impressed.
