Works Great!
As the other reviews have stated, this cable works great for those of us with an older Pioneer stereo with the IP-Bus connector. For about $15 this cable allowed me to hook my android phone to my stereo with no hassle. KW's review was extremely helpful in reminding those of us who misplaced our manuals that you need to go in and turn On the AUX input and turn Off (in my case) the MCD input. To do this, turn the stereo off and then press and hold the function button. This allows you into another menu where these input controls are. That was it! Instant music! The things I like about this particular cable are as follows: 1) Cable length. 4' is perfect for hooking up to the back of the stereo and routing out into the passenger compartment. I can set my phone on the passenger seat or in one of the console cup holders. 2) Price! I returned an IP-Bus to dual RCA female connector cable and a dual male RCA to 3.5mm jack cable to my local big box electronics store because it didn't seem to work. This was more than likely the AUX input problem above, but my local store Only had this as a two cable set up at a cost of almost $43 dollars!! So price wise no comparison. 3) Cable construction. Since I have limited space behind the stereo Not having the big RCA cable ends to contend with was a huge plus.So all in all couldn't be happier with a product that worked exactly as advertised for an extremely reasonable price!

Great item
I needed a way to link my Sony MP3 to my Pioneer head unit through my Sirius Radio at the CD Changer port. This AUX-Input Cable plugs my MP3 in to the back of my Sirius Radio and works perfect. It is routed in to the Pioneer Head unit through the AUX-2 mode so I can select any mode I want from the Head unit and that makes it easy to change to CD,Radio, Sirius or MP3. I made a PVC bracket covered in black felt that is mounted on the steering column that I can snap my MP3 in to so it is right in front of me and easy to control while I drive. I would recommend this product to any one as it is very well built.

Works great
Used this on an older aftermarket Pioneer head unit that did not have a 3.5mm Aux Input on the front. Perfect fit, plugged right in, allowed me to play music from my Android phone. I did not use the Ipod control function, so that was wasted. After I bought this, I found out the Pioneer head unit also had a 3.5mm pin plug input on the back, and I could have used a cheaper generic 3.5mm male pin cord to accomplish the same thing. If you want to be able to control your head unit with your Ipod, I would recommend this item.

Works just as it should and price couldn't be beat!
I was bummed that my Pioneer stereo in my car didn't have a 3.5mm aux input until I did some Googling and found that the stereo has an IP-Bus port on the back and you can plug in various accessories into it, including an IP-Bus to 3.5mm cable! Plugged it in, routed the wire to the front of the stereo, and it works great! The price is great too.

Works great with my old Pioneer Deh-8200r radio
Works great with my old Pioneer Deh-8200r radio, will work with any old Pioneer radio, that had the connection for a multi disc CD changer. If your radio had, or could hook up to a pioneer CD changer, you are good to go! Aka IP-Bus connection.Would be 5 stars, but the 3.5mm Jack is a little too thick, for phones in cases, but it works like a champ. May need to get an extension, in order to make fit for a phone with a case, if headphone cut out isn't big enough. Overall good cable, good quality, and great length. Please note, and this most likely goes for all older, Pioneer radios, you need to go into the hidden menu of radio, and turn ON Aux option, for it to appear on the radio. This is usually in the same settings as where you program clock or turn dimming on.To access this on my particular model (Pioneer Deh-8200r), while radio is off, Press and Hold the "FUNC" button down, which is on the top right of radio, until the menu pops up, then let go, and tap the same FUNC button to navigate across to AUX, then use Directional Arrow buttons to select, and turn on AUX. Once done, just hit the middle button, the "Band/ESC" button, to exit out. After that's done, just turn radio on like usual, and hit the source button a couple times to get to AUX, and you're good to go!While in hidden menu, you can also set the clock if you like 😉 and for those who don't know how to show clock, once radio is On like normal OR off, simply hold down, the RT button, bottom left, until the clock shows up. This also hides it too.

Updated a Decade old Pioneer CD Player
This cable is great! It updated my 10 year old Pioneer CD player by making it able to play music from my cell phone or any mp3 player. All you do is take the unit out, plug this cord into the blue port on the back, and run it to an opening in your cars dashboard. My car has a little compartment under the climate controls that I drilled a hole into so I could feed it through without it being too noticeable. Now I just plug my phone in, set it in the compartment and I'm good to go. Make sure there are no wires or anything else you can damage behind anything you drill. I was able to pull the compartment out of the dashboard before I drilled to I wouldn't damage anything behind it. You will also have to turn off the radio and press function a few times to find the option to turn AUX on.

I normally don't leave bad reviews unless something really sucks
I normally don't leave bad reviews unless something really sucks... so take this for what it is.This does not work at all with an Avic D3 headunit. The package I got looks like this is a homemade cable that would would get from another country on FLEABAY... No specific Pioneer tag or anything of that nature. Simply in a bag. This might work with some head units but it doesn't work at all with an Avic D3,,,The Specific Ipod cable I purchased along with this also made by Pioneer came in a Pioneer packaging and writing on the cable, and guess what it works perfectly with my ipod...Not happy with this cable in the least. Waste of $8!-Nigel
