MestemacherOrganic Rye & Spelt Bread 17.6 oz - Pack of 6

Excellent

One of the few breads that can make a somewhat legimite claim to be "whole grain.' That is, the hull is still intact so that it can traverse the stomach and find it's way to the gut. Milling whole grains, while making good food for energy and survival, negates this journey. This flat, thin, brittle bread is not at all ideal for making "sandwiches" (a relatively recent human invention that came with industrial milling.) But practice and a little planning make sandwiches possible.

I didn't like anything about this bread first when I open the package my wife walked into the kitchen and asked what's that smell it didn't smell good it smell spoiled and it even taste worse. It is very dry and very hard it was like eating board. I read the reviews and decided to buy it this is nothing compared to what I read on the reviews or maybe the ones I get was bad. I'm very disappointed. I'm going to try and return it. It is not consumable.

I really like this bread.It is hard to find a bread containing spelt here in the US .So finding this one is a game changer.I love the flavor and how full it keeps me.The struggle was that I never was full for a long time after eating american whey or white bread.I grew up on all spelt everything (pasta,bread,baked goods etc) so this is a delight to say the least .Will be buying more

My wife and I love all the Mestermacher bread products. We like how much fiber they have. Always toast them so they provide a great platform for the morning meal - eggs, cheese, ham or bacon, avocado, salmon and cream cheese, almond butter...This morning I had smoked salmon, cream cheese, onions and eggs. Keeps me going for most of the day!

I love this kind of bread. I cut the slices in half because it’s simpler to manage. The loaves are easy to store and keep on hand. It is advertised as a Pack of 6. However, it was repackaged by Amazon and arrived as a 4 Pack. The seller said that Amazon does the fulfillment and they have nothing to do with this. Despite the false advertising Amazon does not allow return on bread. Thus I’m sorry to say that I am very hesitant to order it ever again from Amazon.
