These are toeless, but have a shaped heel, so they are quite easy to get on and off. The band around you foot is not too tight or loose, so it doesn't bother me to wear them with shoes. I actually bought them to wear at night, because other styles I tried gave me leg cramps. These don't and they don't keep me awake. They are a soft material, and are not stifling hot to wear.

These are the same brand my doctor got me but cheaper and easier to get. Fit comfortably and help prevent swollen ankles on long car trips or flights. Love the open toe as they look much better with sandals.

I ordered these for my 84 year old sister, along with another brand of knee high stockings. The other brand she is happy with but these did not stay up. They fell down around her ankles. Unfortunately, she did not let me know until after the return window closed. 84 year olds don’t understand Amazon ordering and returns. So I am stuck with them.

I've been trying different brands of compression socks and the Mediven fit quite well. The nylon is warmer than the cotton blend Juzo compression socks I've also tried so I may stick with Juzo. Both help keep the swelling down in my legs, ankles and feet.

I use this product for a long flight . This is a prevention for DVT
