In all likelihood, this is a generic case that was designed for another product (the old powerbank from Mi perhaps) which the vendors realised can kinda work for the Mi Powerbank 3i 20000mAh.As you can see from the pics, there's around 8mm of extra material which looks ugly. Considering the price, silicon material is barely thick enough. This product is not at all value of money or even reasonably priced for that matter.As for effectiveness, the only thing this case will protect against is scratches. It will hardly make a difference in a fall because it's thin and the powerbank is quite heavy. In the last pic, I've clicked it against a light so that you can see how thin the material is.Overall, no protection, no aesthetics, no value for money. Returned.

It helps in preventing scratches and damage to your powerbank. Powerbanks easily get tossled in the bag and get all scratched up and look old. Or few drops here and there can damage them.Please find it difficult to install on powerbank. It is because of the snug(tight) fit. I used simple trick that's used in cycling to install hand grips. Before you put it on powerbank, please spray alcohol (sanitizer is fine). Only use the flowy/watery type sanitizer not the thick one. After applying the alcohol, it will slide easily. Later it will evaporate.Since it is soft silicon, it collects dust so need to remove it once in a while to clean it.I got it for Mi wireless charger and charging works alright. Howeve powerbank + silicon case + phone case + phone means a lot of gap so it does not work that we'll and for long.

Good product but money vested

Good Protective cover for the 30000mah brick. Cant call it a case or anything but its decent grip for the price and pick a bright color so that its easy to find when needed. A Small cavity for storing a small extra cable would be nice to have but the 30k powerbank itself is big so anything on the sizes will make this even bigger.
