I love that the state capitals were marked on there. The national capital was also marked in a different way which made it easy to find. My Kindergarteners thought that the map was magnificent and the colors were bright and perfect. I did have to cut it in half to get it through our school's lamenator, but I taped it back together and it ended up looking good as new. It was well worth my money. I would buy it again.

Got this for my mom so she could have a real sense of where I was leaving. So whenever there were fires in California or hurricanes in the gulf area she could have peace of mind there was nothing going to happen to me in NY. I put it in the wall of her office room so she could understand the distances. Very colorful.

This map is big, colorful, and easy to read. I got it for my 5-year-old son, who has taken an interest in states. He loves to look at it and have me name all of the states, rivers, etc. My only complaint is that not all of the rivers and lakes on the map are labeled. It makes it harder when my son points at a random lake and asks me the name! Overall, I am very happy with the purchase. It's a serviceable map at a price low enough that I won't mind if my son ends up ripping or damaging it!

The map is a perfect size for the intended purpose. The print is large and the individual colors of each state is not overbearing but awesome to look at. It is a great learning tool and cities are easy to locate from coast to coast. I purchase two maps, one for myself and the second for a niece who is due to graduate soon. The map is a perfect motivational tool to encourage her to do well in school.

The only bad thing about this map is that it comes folded. Purchased in order to create a picture map of the states I've visited so it would've been much nicer to have received rolled up. Once in a frame, doesn't look bad though.

Well its a map and it meets all the expectations- elaborate and informative!Tip: Do check nearby stores before buying it from Amazon. First I bought one for my office (Amazon- ~$4)and other for home (BD's store: $1.5).

Looks good, i mean, it's a map. Be aware though product description says 9 x 9 but it is, in actuality, 40 in x 28 in.

I am planning a farewell party for my boyfriend and I. He is a pilot and I am an avid traveler so I wanted to combine both of our passions. This map was a backdrop to my food table and it worked wonderfully, Everything was clear and had bright colors. Also the size was perfect. 10/10 would buy again!
