Great buy and very useful. Just need to buy extra cartridge plastic to have variety of colors and sturdier because what’s includes with the machine is the paper type cartridge.

This was purchased to replace a 13 year old on whose LCD screen is fading. Makes great labels. I like the choices of tape type (paper, plastic, etc.). Makes it usable for many surfaces.

Even though it was larger and heavier than I expected, this device was intuitively easy to set up and use. I have yet to read the whole User Manual, but it just arrived this afternoon. It wouldn't be a good choice if you need a small, lightweight, portable label maker. This one is too large and heavy.I deliberately selected a device with the Qwerty keyboard, as I'm more familiar with it. In advance, I had also bought a 6-pack of the white plastic tape label cartridges. So when the label maker arrived today, I was all set to get started.In the evening, I was able to quickly make 26 name labels for my disabled brother's art supplies. The labels look great and will be water resistant. If the adhesive on the labels 'holds', these should last a long time.The device was almost silent when it was printing (a surprising but welcome feature) and it shuts off automatically if left for more than a few minutes. It would have been even better if its screen was lit. It was hard to read in the evening, unless I was sitting directly under a light/lamp. A bonus is that the device retains the text when shut off, unless deliberately erased.My only gripe (thus far) is that the device came in rigid plastic packaging -- the kind that needs to be cut open. As a result, there is NOTHING to store it in that will keep it clean. It would have been perfect if it had come in a box to protect it.
