This is a great replacement for the folio cover, with added benefits and at a fraction of Apple's price. I don't use my pencil much, but the magnetic clasp is a great way to secure the pencil, which is completely lacking from Apple's product. Also, when you don't have the pencil the clasp is not loose or in the way, it simply works as a locking mechanism for the front of the case. Again, this is better than the folio case, where the front can easily flap up if you drop it, potentially detaching the entire case. This will not happen with this case due to the extra security from the flap closure.

I chose it mainly to have a sleek and thin cover case for my iPad Pro. It is much affordable than the Apple brand Smart Cover, but this one has the additional perk of the flap that magnetically clasps over the Apple Pencil in it's charging position at the side of the iPad Pro. The materials used is very good, almost like Apple's own Smart Cover. The magnets that holds the iPad Pro is very strong and holds on the device very securely, assuring you that it will not fall off. The cover is a tri-fold one that can be used to prop up the iPad Pro in a more vertical position or in a slightly angled horizontal position. What I really like about the cover is that it can magnetically clasp to the back of the case, so if you are holding the iPad Pro it is not in the way. The flap also folds and magnetically clasp to the back, so it's not something that dangles and gets in the way.Other than protecting the back and the screen from scratches, don't expect drop protection from this case. This is for someone who wants to keep that slim profile of the iPad Pro but have something to protect the screen and the back of the device from scratches. If you want a sleek cover that is almost at par with Apple's own Smart Cover, then this product is highly recommended!
