Reviews were correct city water does taste better
the cartridge was unexpected addition to the Waterdrop G2 Reverse Osmosis system followed instructions closely but it leaked at outlet side .Made the mistake of mounting under cabinet as instruction suggested Thus could not get tubing to release when it leaked .Contacted supplier they were more. than happy to replace , promptly .Best Customer Service Customer service mailed replacement faster than Amazon's first mailing . Second install purchased more tubing from Home Depot and cut tubing long enough so I could remove from under cabinet before trying to remove cartridge and this made it easier to remove tubing following instructions, Also added duct tape to tubing when installing so had a. firmer grip pushing in tubing beyond the initial click , So far works great , City Water does taste better Very satisfied customer happy with purchase

Nice filter, I am enjoying the good taste of the water that is coming from my filter then though this thing. Would definitely recommend.

Leaked initially, but fixed with clean cuts - improves taste.
I kind of ordered this "filter" on the spur of the moment. Then I read some reviews and once it arrived - I was very hesitant to even open the package...In the end, we decided to try it, and I'm glad we did. The water straight from the filter had a somewhat "blunt" taste - this thing brought the taste back. Not alkalinity, though - but for that we got some drops.Installation was a bit of a pain - yes, it did leak initially. I had to re-do the cuts on the tubes several times until I finally got a straight, even cut. I also marked the tubes with lines to indicate how far they should go in. This helped stop the leaks. So far so good - it's online for about 2 months and all connections are dry.I'm guessing: when the time comes to replace it, it'll be another fight with the leaks, and more cutting - may be useful to order some extra tubing. But I don't think I'll give up on this, it works.

Makes super clean water taste great.
Picked this up after installing an ro system. Family was complaining about weird lack of any taste until I installed this and now we have both super pure water and wonderful "taste" highly recommend.

Better taste
We had just the RO setup from waterdrop for awhile and the taste wasn't bad it was just void of taste like distilled water. Adding this after the RO setup it adds back a good taste that reminds me of water we would get from a deep well up in Montana. Just wish the water was that cold.

Such a great addition for Reverse Osmosis Systems
As this is connected in via hose external to the Waterdrop unit, I'd say that even if you bought a Waterdrop unit without this feature (or possibly even a different brand of unit, assuming the same hose size?) this inexpensive filter really enhances the crisp clean taste of the water where I live. I use these filters in a G2 System (https://amzn.to/4eAO0j4) and they work great. They couldn't be any easier to swap out, they for "average/typical" use generally last about one year, and without a doubt I believe they improve the taste of the water considerably. Haven't tried an expensive mlm-model water purifier that had insane costs... these filters and the Waterdrop G2 unit/system are great value for money.

Cheap is not good and good is not cheap ... this thingy is cheap and useless.
Do not fall for it … “Contents mentioned above are benefits of mineral water, not MNR35” … this filter, MNR35, does not turn RO water into mineral water, it does not even mineralize the water in any meaningful way.It doesn't do much to improve RO water's health aspect. It is basically a post carbon filter that has some sprinkles of cheap mineral content (PPC derived calcium) and does next to nothing to improve your body functions affected by minerals depleted water. The only marginal benefit is when your RO system uses a pressure tank, the Waterdrop RO systems do not use one. The carbon in this filter can potentially remove some effects of water sitting in the tank and picking up rubber and metal particles from the tank itself. As all other remineralization filters, this one does not infuse adequate mineral content into the RO water. There is just not enough surface and time for water going thru a short tube filter to dissolve and absorb minerals. It’s the physics stupid!Search the YouTube ... What's inside the Waterdrop MNR Mineralization filter? ... for more info and then buy some good trace minerals drops to add to your RO water.BTW … as packaged, the filter kit is missing the blue locking clips that are required to secure filter connection collet rings against accidental release of the tubes.
